What elemental superpower would you want to have?

It's obvious for myself, but I'll tell you why. I like ice because:

1. It's cool (no pun intended)

2. It's not that hard to harness (like electricity which is too fast)

3. It won't kill anyone else who touches my ice creations

4. SO AWESOME!

5. Ice stays around, so I can make ice sculptures that'll last forever

Personally I think i would chose the power to be able to hack anything with my mind.....and there was no way to trace me i could use it for good but hunting down hackers or bad in the fact that i would be able to hack credit cards and such without being able to be track (cuz i used my mind)

Whenever someone asks me this, I always say ice. And, for your information, this started long before Frozen came out.

A part of me wants to say fire, because I love fire...but as a power it's pretty one dimensional. Besides, I can light a fire with matches. I can't make ice sculptures or redirect floods with a fridge.

Electricity sounds interesting, but in actuality it's just not worth it.

After narrowing my choices to electricity and water/ice, I opted for electricity. The practical uses are nearly endless, especially if you have working knowledge of electricity and magnetism.

 

- First, electricity can help a lot with everyday pet peeves, especially in our technologically advanced world. Dead cellphone or laptop battery? You can recharge it yourself; this comes in handy if you're not near an outlet, don't have a charger, or are traveling abroad, where electric outlet standards will vary. Is it cold? You can use your electrokinetic abilities to generate heat.

 

- Second, it's useful in emergencies. You can generate your own electricity if the power goes out. No need to wait on your local electric utility, and no need to buy a carbon-monoxide producing portable generator. No need to invest in jumper cables, you act as your own jumper cable. Buying an electric car or hybrid would make even more financial sense than it does, as you'd have unlimited range due to the fact that you can recharge your car on the spot if it runs out of electric power.

 

- If you know a bit about electromagnetism, the possibilities are almost endless. Your next-door neighbor is pissing you off? You can just generate a electromagnetic pulse (EMP) strong enough to knock out their power and most of their electronics. If your powers are a secret, they'd never know what hit them. Are you feeling lazy and don't want to get up to pick up the phone or change the channel? You can use your own powers to do that stuff.

 

- Cool lightning displays, of course. Just don't fry your friends, your dog, or your neighbors.

Also, it can be annoying when it's windy outside, so it'd be cool to have the power to stop it. Maybe I could even stop tornadoes!

Or specifically, steel. But preferably just metal. Though, if I can't summon it from nowhere/my stamina, then I'll probably pick Earth. And make an island for myself, make it an official micronation, and I'll have some Earth Golems harvest plants from trees and stuff I summon/plant while I build myself an awesome castle.

Ice, like Elsa from Frozen has. I think that would be the coolest, because you could freeze stuff and create ice and snow.
