Okay, I'm currently trying to find faster ways to draw so I can get more requests done for everyone . Of course, I don't want to rush them and to scamp them :okiedokielokie: .

 

I'm looking forward to use vector software like inkscape, so I can re-use and modify some vectors without doing them all over again everytime. I can do this with GIMP but it's really not interesting, because of many, many reasons.

Once they're done, I would be able to draw both the vector drawing and the pixelated drawing (I'm not sure vector drawings can have gradient or shading effects).

The good thing is that I would be able to use a base for the eyes that I can modify instead of spending one or two hours to get the eyes right for each drawing.

Overall, it would be better and I'll be able to draw faster .

 

The only problem is : I can't find any tutorial that is about vector DRAWING, and not VECTORIZING pictures. I mean, I DO draw with vectors, but I'm sure there's some tricks to know.

So I'll keep looking, but if anyone knows some tutorials about it, I would gladly have some links !

 

 

Oh, yeah, so like I said, I will be able to give pure vector pictures too, would anyone be interested ?

Okay, I made some choices.

 

- I will close the shop for now, so I don't get lost because of the number of requests, and I need to take a break to focus on my own OC .

- I will draw the next 2 requests with my usual style. However FOR ALL THE REQUESTS FOLLOWING, I won't bother with complicated gradient, shading, rendering, colors... Anymore, it takes much, much too long .

- No backgrounds.

- Pictures will be more flat and less detailed (okay, I'll make plenty of details for the eyes because it's cute -_- )

- I'm really sorry, I have to do it this way, I just can't spend 6-8+ hours for every request. I hope you all understand, but keep in mind that I'm the first being sad about this .

- Of course, if I think some details could make a drawing much more beautiful, or if I feel like making a background that suits the OC, I'll do it. And if I find the time to do this, I'll use the usual style.

Could you perhaps draw one of my OC's? I would like a drawing of my Fallout OC Dyna Mite. She is a filly. Her cutie mark is a tripwire exlposives (if you could add that ? ).

Of course, I will fix some things I didn't see before, resize them a little bit,...

 

I don't want you to think I only put some colors and spent 15mn to do it, but using already drawn poses and using already made vectors could really, really help me to draw faster.

A picture of this or something similar (perhaps a claymore) would do  It is a tripewire bomb.

A tripwire explosive is something that blows up when it detects movement. Usually by a wire that you step on. Hence the term "Tripwire." Because you have to step on the wire to trip the bomb to explode.

It's like a mine ! I thought that was like in cartoons, you know, the TNT bloc with some sort of cable(wire ?) joining it to a lever.

Technically speaking. A claymore could be considered a tripwire explosive. As it only detonates when it detects movement.

I tried to do something about your tripwire bomb, but I can't really do much about it . Being a cutie-mark, it can't really be very complicated, but I don't know how to represent it, I'm really sorry, I'm just a beginner about drawing stuff

I will do something easier to represent, and give you the picture. However, if you find anybody able to draw a cutie mark that pleases you, come back here so I can change it . I can also give you the blank-flank version if you prefer.

 

I tried a less compressed format, so it takes some time to upload it, but the blank-flank version is on the way.

 

EDIT: Okay, I'll crop it and get the standard format back, this one is terrible.

It's impressive how I always forgot something.

Everytime I forget so much things, I always end up doing each one of them BUT one . It's fixed now.
