Episode revisit

Here's an idea I've had for a while. If you could choose one thing from a previous episode to revisit, what would it be?

 

Of course, you're not retconning anything, just getting the series to do something again. For instance, you could have an episode about the next Grand Galloping Gala, to see how the ponies might do things differently this time around (assuming they attend). Or maybe the next Winter Wrap Up? Pinkie's next birthday? Next Nightmare Night? Gilda's next visit maybe? Anything like that!

I would likely choose the next Winter Wrap Up or the next Grand Galloping Gala and see how Twilight's role in each event changes now that she's a princess.

I personally want King Sombra to come back and do something other than stand there looking menacing.  Not sure if that's just me. ^^;

Simple, I would make Sonic Rainboom a Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash focused episode. Downplay or remove Rarity's role in it. That way the episode can be focused on RD learning from Flutters (of all ponies) to face her apprehension. Of course, Fluttershy's outburst at the end would remain signifying that perhaps her Polonius moment might be more after all. That is how one creates a deepening complexity surrounding Fluttershy and her fear.

Yes, I wonder why they do that.

 

They should make more episodes taking place in winter even if it's not directly involved in the plot. (that would be more realistic, because these 2 episodes took place in winter for plot convenience)

You know how "Games Ponys Play" and "Just for Sidekicks" were essentially two points of view on the same story?  Well I was thinking they should do that same sort of thing with "The Last Roundup".  I forget who, but I once heard a youtuber say that in order for AJ to be truelly out of her comfort zone, thus creating a real conflict, she'd have to be away from Ponyville, Away from her familly, and away from her friends.  At a glance that sounds impossible to script.  However, showing AJ's side of the story in The Last Roundup" could be the perfect way to do it.

That's not a bad idea, because despite being framed as such, that episode is anything but an "Applejack episode". She really could have used more focus in the whole scenario.
