My main OC.

Heya guys. 

 

I was bored messing around in Fanfiction and I got the idea to make a new cover for my fanfic.

Without outlines (The mouth looked better while making it, don't know what happened there):

One hour and a half I think. I had some issues at the end, so it might have taken two hours until I finished.

Took me a moment, but I found the hidden message ^^  Very cute.

 

As for the pictures themselves, I think both look quite nice.  My only suggestion is to perhaps try merging both of these styles together, using the outlines in the shaded areas while keeping areas of light without lines.  This can create differences in line density, softening the edges where light hits while helping bring out the harsher contrast of the shaded areas.  

 

Just a suggestion though, as everyone has their own preferences, but they still look good as is.  Keep up the good work and take care!

Didn't find the secret message. But I managed to find out how you drew the moon. You took a white circle and colored half of it blue. How do I know that? Because you can still see a very faint outline of that circle.

Almost. I actually erased part of the circle to make that shape. Good eye there.

The night sky looks so mystical in this; a perfect fit for your OC, IMO =) I love the look of his eyes, too; dim but not lifeless, kinda like shady orbs of light, if that even makes sense Seriously, great job!
