Not sure if you'll call this news, but I enjoy the works of WeAreChange. They report on stuff that doesn't get reported as much as it should. They also have videos where they question authority and have a drinking game during the Super Bowl, which involves asking current event questions.

The only news channel that I follow is rockandmetalnewz, a channel reporting news from the rock and metal music industry, very useful if I wanna know information about new metal releases coming up soon.
