It is with a heavy heart I must inform you all of the passing of John "Bad Bones" Klinger. One of the stalwarts of the European indy scene and one of the all time great home grown star's of Germany's top fed wXw, has passed away at the age of 40 from a heart attack.  By all accounts a great worker and an even better human being who left us far too young. This loss, along with the passing of Absolute Andy, have hit the wXw faithful hard. Two of their major alumni, now gone in only six months. It's a shame that more fans outside Europe never knew who they were. But hopefully more will.

Rest in Power, Absolute Andy and John Klinger. May your legacies live on.

5-28-24 NXT SPOILERS

Spoiler

There was an unexpected debut (to me at least) on WWE NXT. "All Ego" Ethan Page debuted by attacking NXT Champion, Trick Williams. :zipp-wut:

We have the opportunity to change the course of wrestling for the better.

Wouldn't that work better for Rob Van Dam? :nom:

Tony Khan is more of a Coke and Whiteclaw kind of guy.

Punk should've gotten the RC cola logo. A true classic soft drink.

Next Sunday is Dominion, the second biggest show on the NJPW calendar.

And on that show, the IWGP WHC will be defended in an AEW vs. NJPW match, as Jon Moxley battles EVIL in a lumberjack in the shows semi-main event.

You read that right. The world title will be going on second to last. Because for the first time ever, the final match of Dominion will also be the final match of Best of the Super Juniors XXXI, with the winner challneging for the IWGP jr. heavyweight title. This would be like SummerSlam being headlined by the finals of the Crusierweight Classic.

And earlier today, the finalists were determined. Your Dominion main event will be:

El Desperado vs. Taiji Ishimori

Despe enters his 3rd BotSJ final, while Ishimori makes his return for the first time since his debut in BotSJ 2018. Each looking to win it all for the first time and add the missing piece to their stellar legacies. All in front of the biggest crowd ever for a junior heavyweight main event since the 1995 Super J Cup.

But that's not all! Cause on the very next night is this:

What's this show about? I haven't a flippin' clue. Order it and find out. I mean it's El Despy being given the book for a day. How bad could it be?

Could WWE buy TNA Wrestling similar to how Tony Khan bought Ring of Honor?

They could. They have no real reason to. They aren't competition. All they have of value is a tape library. NXT is bigger than TNA is now. And NXT has it's own NXT in the Evolve fed.

Most likely, all the big backstage layoffs are for a TKO style merger of TNA with Anthem's own MMA fed, Invicta.

Anthem most likely see TNA the same way Sinclair saw ROH. Just another program to fill the air time. Remember, ROH sold out Madison Square Garden. Something WWE had only done once in the 5 years prior. And Sinclair still wouldn't up their budget.

It's a shame WWE don't make DVD's anymore, I know TNA's already done it twice but an AJ Styles documentary

+ his best TNA and WWE matches would've been phenomenal.

So normally I don't spotlight indy belts, but these are damn gorgeous and creative. The heavyweight and tag titles of Right Coast Pro.

Congrats to El Desperado for winning his first BotSJ, completing a 12 year journey to the top, in front of the biggest audience for an all junior main event in 20 years.
