Only way I'd pass it as a DM is that she said she's got unicorn blood in her, allowing some weather control. But that is up to you since she is a pegasus

Usually by taking the time to gather all the clouds together and choosing which ones to use.

So kind of a finicky topic lol 

 

because she did just use what was already floating above so I guess it's up to Dm to choose what severity of weather clouds they appeared to be.

She bucked a cloud to "kickstart" the storm. I mean if she gathered clouds and all I would be like okay about the minimal rain and thunder, but as of now I just see it as a normal thunderstorm.

Only reason I bring this up is because the fallout equestria rp book thingy has like nothing on this. The only thing close to it is that an expert pegasus can create a weather anomaly, but it never states the severity of it.

If it's anything like other Roleplay games, genrally to create a storm of a controlled severity usually requires an extended ritual.

it was the way she set it off. Also she had used some of the clouds as cover. She never entended to make a full thunderstorm. Just emulate one for extra cover. Any Pegasus can emulate weather normally. It was the DM who said it was a full storm.

 

Sorry if I made a missunderstanding.

She also had the time needed to focus and set it up without being noticed. It wasn't a short distance for the group to get to her location.

I will be more detailed next time. She wouldn't have just been sitting there making sure the enemy remained.

So the storm is only within the immediate area, and I know that she had time to set it up, but since it wasn't actually stated I can't know for sure. But yeah when we're dealing with something of this nature lets try to be as detailed as possible to avoid misunderstandings

I will. sorry for the misunderstanding. Let's play hard ball with them. Btw weather crafter is a perk that pegasi can take to grant them full mastery of their weather manipulation.

 

It also uses FP to power it. She used half her FP to make this storm.

As for the storm itself, Once she kickstarted it the gm has control. Without advanced weather training she can't control the storm. The way she set it up was for minimal dsmage to party after that is anyone's guess.
