A First Pony Made!

Ok not my best,  not my worse in given I have no glasses right now!  (blind as a bat with out em...) but thought it was time to make a pony/race given some ideas I have had in playing around with a few things..Some feedback would be loved or pointers!  (Also is paint tool sai worth the money after the free time?)

Race: Prism Pony/Earth

Home Kingdom: Crystal Empire

Note On the Prism Ponies: A off shoot of the the Crystal Empire ponies,  when the Kingdom left the face of the earth,  a few villages remind but in a hidden fog and mostly cut off from the rest of the world in a hidden valley.  Slowly the ponies lost their Crystal like shimmer but their fur colors would change given how the light might hit them like a prism might!  Often in a soft glow in the light,  they might also shoot off trails of colors like a broken prism,  it is said their mane and tail will deepen or bright up given their mood.

I love the color!! only tip would be to outline her ear, unless you were trying to make it look like the hair was covering it. and the tail could be a little smoother on the lines, but I do really like it!!

Thanks,  I might try to use a differences graphics a bit just to explore..(one more week till glasses...)  I also plan to get a pen to use for drawing  a bit the finer lines on the mouse pad!

I love the colors and design that you used here! You did an awesome job on it.

And I like the idea of prism ponies.

 

Though, I think the ear might need a little work; it seems to be missing an outline.
