Okay so I was wondering if it was possible to have a setting so that when you receive a notification, you can have a sound inform you of that fact (similar to how skype does it, when you're on a different tab). It's just that whenever I am playing a game or watching a video, there is obviously no way to know if I have received a message from someone or a reply to my thread without having to constantly check the tab which is annoying. I don't know how hard it would be to implement, but since both Skype and Ponyhoof (MLP version of facebook) have the option to have a sound play when you get a message/notification, it would be nice to see something similar here 6 ---< Fanfic Writer, Music Maker, Film Director and Voice Actor >--- Don't expect anything incredible though! I would never recommend a sound to be played for notifications if you follow a topic. Can you imagine if you played Forum Games? I always go with the mindset we should approach something like this with the concept of implementation on a small scale first. Like limit it to PM notifications first. Also, I have a few suggestions, like maybe a few different sounds you can choose from, if possible, some for people who may just want a "ding" and some who want a "yay!" or something like that, personally I'd like something from MLP, but not something quite so obvious (so I suppose having it play a full heavy metal version of the theme or "winter rap up rapping up winter edition staring snoop dogg and Twi-Sparkz would be a bad idea.), also being able to adjust the volume would be good as well, with the minimum being silent (I'm all about that customisation.)
