Tyra, completely oblivious to the apparent horror on Caramel's face, removed the fish from the spit and dug into it, her wolf taking a few bites now and then.

 

She perked up as Caliber asked for a bite, and she smiled and nudged the second fish toward him.

"Please, help yourself!" She chirped, "There should be plenty for all!"

"No, I don't know." She said flatly. She began thinking about how to put this. "Now, Ice, what would you do if I started laughing and making bad jokes and running into trees all day? Would you be worried? And then what would you do if I refused to tell you what was the matter?" She was silent before adding, "what would you do if I just became a different pony one day because of lack of sleep?"

Blizzard was defeated. He knew Red's point was spot on, and that arguing it would be going nowhere. He tried his best to play it off, but sighed, "What if I told you what was really the matter? I...don't know if I can because...I don't want you all to hate me for being stupid." he said while looking to the ground in shame.

he grinned, and took one. 

 

he took a huge bite, well over half the fish, and started chewing. 

 

"thith ith really good, tyra!" he said, chewing, and then swallowing. "much better then simple berries!"

 

he took another gargantuan bite, chewing happily.

Blizzard was defeated. He knew Red's point was spot on, and that arguing it would be going nowhere. He tried his best to play it off, but sighed, "What if I told you what was really the matter? I...don't know if I can because...I don't want you all to hate me for being stupid." he said while looking to the ground in shame.

Red stared at him then smiled. She almost said I would hate you if you were smart.

 

"I won't hate you, Ice," she said. "Every pony has it hard sometimes. But we're friends, right? You can tell any of us what's the matter and no one would think the worst of you for it. I promise," she added.

Blizzard almost began to cry. He was sad, because of what he had done, but he was a bit happy due to Red's understanding. He got up and quickly hugged her for a moment before letting go, "Thank you Red. You're a great sister. But what I've done--no--what I was stupid enough to let happen is nigh inexcusable and could potentially mess up Equestria permanently....." his voice began to break and tears began to fall from his face as he sat down and covered his eyes, "*sniff* I..just...can't forgive myself...I'm so stupid...."

Red accepted the hug and awkwardly pat him on the shoulder. "You're fine just the way you are," she informed him. "We all love you for who you are. We don't want you to be any different. And sometimes, ponies make mistakes. We've all made them. But that's fine too, Ice."

Blizzard continued to cry as he listened to Red. He was feeling so happy and sad at the same time due to how much compassion Red was giving him. But he was still messed up, "But this particular mistake Red. I mean, all of Equestria could be bucked over all because of me. I feel a bit better thanks to you, but with this weight of guilt for what i did upon my shoulders, I don't think I'm gonna be myself again anytime soon..." he said sadly.

"My thanks, friend!" Tyra chirped, swishing her tail and grinning proudly, "It is my Uncle Ragnar's technique for preparing fish! Though he has never used raspberries before, but it seemed to have worked out, yes?"

 

At his question, he pointed a hoof toward Ice and Red. "He is talking to Red." She frowned. "Honestly, I am rather concerned for him. He is not being all loud and bouncy, aside from tripping over that log but he recovered much more...maturely, than usual."

 

She blinked. "And most bizarrely of all, he has not been making strange fish-faces at his pictures of that mare!"

Don't ever forget how much you're giving for Equestria." Red nudged him. "Equestria would fall without you," she said.

"But I just gotta hope Scarlett hasn't figured out how she could easily take over Equestria yet."

Red nodded once. "I think Tyra made some nice fish dish if you want to eat with us later," she said,  then turned away. "I hope you feel better," she added, more quietly, mostly to herself. For all our sake.

 

She made her way back into the main part of camp. Glancing around, she noticed Caramel still among them. "Are you sticking around?" She asked the mare, neither friendly nor hostile.

Blizzard then got up, and walked towards the trail that Tyra's wolf had pointed to earlier. He made his ice binoculars, and saw a tree that overlooked a trail, "Goin' on sentry duty guys. Lemme know when we're all ready to leave. I'll be here...." he then climbed the tree, and sat in a branch while looking with his ice binoculars over the trail.

 

"Equestria may fall without me, but at this point, it seems as though it'll fall due to my existence...."

 

He eventually fell asleep again while up in the tree due to his insomnia.

Ticktock had slept through everything that had happened and had just began to wake up "Hey guys what have I missed and why are you all out of bed? your not talking about me are you?" Ticktock chuckled and then fell back to sleep not waiting for everyone's answers.

As the lest one of pur heroes awake,sun was on the sky and plant was still close to our heroes.And as the lest one awake(Ticktock) plant started to move onces again.It moved in a qay of Ticktock voice,and it glowed brighter then before,it was like it thinked its in trouble,with all this ponys around it.

caliber looked at blizzard for a moment, before shrugging, and continuing his meal. "ah, im sure he'll be fine." he said, finishing off the fish. "he always comes around."

 

"so...anyone got any ideas about that plant?" he asked the others. "i just woke up and it was there..."

Red watched Blizzard leave and promptly fall back asleep. She smiled to herself, then turned to the others, examining the plant.

 

"Perhaps we should just leave it alone," she suggested. "I don't want to risk harming it. It is almost certainly connected to the djinn somehow."

"I suppose you are right," Tyra agreed, taking another bite of her fish, "He is a strong pony, after all."

 

She perked up as Red returned, and nodded at her answer. "Aye, it would be best not to aggravate them."

She grinned and held up her fish to Red. "Would you like to try some? It has raspberry on iiiit!" She added with a wiggle of her eyebrows to try and sell it.

As Blizzard went to sleep, this time, he stayed asleep. But he still couldn't get rid of the bad vision of all of Equestria being frozen, his friends stuck in ice, and being forever alone to wander a frozen wasteland with the weight of guilt being all upon his shoulders.

 

All he could hear were voices (that belonged to Scarlett) saying 'Ice Idiot' over and over.

Glancing around, she noticed Caramel still among them. "Are you sticking around?" She asked the mare, neither friendly nor hostile.

 

Caramel, who had been hyperventilating in the background as her would-be protector (Caliber) moved on to eat Tyra's fish (and compliment it! Euch!) started at Red's question towards her. She grinned shakily. "I'd like to, if you'll have me," Caramel said to Red. "I can help you guys out. As nopony's really told me anything," Caramel mysteriously got a berry stuck in her throat and began coughing loudly, not suggestively at all, "I'm working on an assumption that you guys fight a lot. And if there's one thing I'm good at, it's fighting a lot."

She gagged as Tyra offered Red the fish, and trotted over to Ticktock, not taking apart in voting on where to go next. She didn't know much of the situation, after all--probably better to stay out of it. She nudged him. "Heya, sleepy," she said, "I think your companions are talking about leaving."

Ticktock half opened his eyes and began to talk in a sleepy voice "But mum I don't wanna go to school all the other ponies make fun of me." Ticktock then quickly snapped out of it "You tell NOPONY about this ok? But I cant believe they want to leave already we just went to sleep.

As Reaver started to cough all plants around them turned at her,and closer plant where to our heroes they glowed more and more with white-blu color.And with Ticktock yell they glowed even more,they glowed so bright it was like they where light it self now,and our heroes would need to care what they do next,because it could end badly for them...

Red winced slightly as Tyra offered her a fish. She looked at Tyra's hopeful and bright expression.

 

"Yeah, sure, I'll try some!" She said in a forced tone of cheerfulness. "But it's the first time I'm trying fish. It might surprise me. But, uh, I like raspberries." She said, nodding hastily. Maybe the raspberries would cover the texture of-- ugh-- the meat.

 

Red paused. The flowers were glowing brightly now. She looked away from them-- too bright to stare at. "What's going on?" she asked intelligently.

Caramel grinned at Ticktock. "Oh, don't worry, I won't tell your companions about your... 'mummy', and, er, the other ponies all making fun of you at school." She stifled a giggle, and rubbed her eyes, frowning at the plant. "Hey, Clockpony, do you see that?" she asked, staring at the brightness of the plant then quickly looking away--it hurt her eyes. "It's getting a tad brighter, isn't it?"
