LauraJane 53 April 5, 2015 Share April 5, 2015 How did you find MLP Forums?: Through a friend How you became a fan of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic: After seeing all the hype and wanting to learn more - the art style appeals to me! Hi there everyone! I'll start by saying I've not watched much of MLP, but I aim to! I adore the art style, animation and characters. I understand I have much to catch up on and enjoy as I continue the series. In all honesty, I was skeptical about being involved with MLP to begin with after seeing so much negativity aimed at the fanbase. As it turns out, a friend of mine who I'd known for years came out as a brony and then I realised I may have misunderstood. To see how much happiness the show brought him made me happy. I'd also watched the 'Bronies' documentary on Netflix, and I honestly loved seeing how so many creative people came together with so many shared interests. As a girl who is into games, I understand how hard it can be for people to judge based on interests! I am a trained animator/illustrator, so I have a lot of admiration for the work that goes into MLP. The animation is beautiful and really inspirational. I grew up on Playstation games such as Spyro and Crash, so instantly felt drawn to the characters and their art. I'm good with character and story concepts, so if you need help with a fanfic or something feel free to Private message me But don't be hurt if I have to decline if I'm tapped out for a bit. Otherwise I'm fairly good at it just sometimes I have to let my mind subconsciously think of some ideas. It can make life difficult when people ask me what my interests and fandoms are but you just have to be yourself and the right people will respect and appreciate you! luckily I have many creative friends who love the show also. 6 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
