So, I knew of its existence for some time. Not that long ago, I decided to actually check the site out, and I liked what I saw. I wish I would have discovered it sooner; it seems like a great community. How you became a fan of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic: I learned about MLP and its fandom from the "Bronies" documentary about 2 years ago. In all honesty, I thought it was crazy at first! Even still, me and my brother decided to check out the show and from the first episode we were hooked. As the saying goes, the rest was history. Hello brony community! For some reason, I have the hardest time writing about myself, but I will try my best. Now, where do I begin? Well, I am a (female) African American and a college student. Needless to say, my life is pretty busy with various classes and deadlines. I counter the stress of school by reading, writing, watching documentaries etc. Interestingly enough, the very thing that causes stress in a academic setting is my cure for it: Learning. Simply put, I am nerd -- and a proud one, I might add. I love learning about new things regardless of the subject. (Well, almost anyways. Math is one subject I would happily pass on.) But I especially love to learn about different cultures, peoples, and religions. One country I am quite fond of is Japan. So much so, that I have been learning the language for about four years now -- albeit, I wish I was further along in fluency. I could accurately call myself a jack-of-all-trades, but I also try to master some of my many interests as well. Aside from fluency in Japanese, one of those is writing. I have always been keen on writing even at a young age -- whether it be short stories or a diary entry. However, since discovering the wonderful world of MLP fanficiton, the desire to write stories others would enjoy has grown. I actually have some ideas in the works as well. Well, that is me in a nutshell. It is great to be here and I am glad to be to join this online herd. Brohoof to you all! (P.S. I chose Applejack as my favorite pony because she is most like me. But I am also a Rainbow Dash fan as well. I'm good with character and story concepts, so if you need help with a fanfic or something feel free to Private message me But don't be hurt if I have to decline if I'm tapped out for a bit. Otherwise I'm fairly good at it just sometimes I have to let my mind subconsciously think of some ideas. It is quite rare to find a site where members are so friendly and welcoming. This truly is a needle in a haystack (no pun intended, haha) of the world-wide-web.
