I keep suggesting a regular arena with a renaissance fair/carnival-like look out the front, but I dunno if it's been accepted or not

Hmm... how to get an alicorn Trixie into this RP... hmm...

 

Pey you had the right idea, just wrong layout I think. See what Cob said. Just make a round gladiator like arena (As per RP title!) with the facilities around it, but still inside the building. This way there's room to grow, but outward to the outside.

Do you think open air or closed air? Open honestly makes more sense to me.

Open for sure, so the flyers can fly. At least as far as arena is concerned. The facilities are buildings IMHO.
