You turned her into something that she didn't turn herself into. Her changeling abilities are suppressed because she didn't willingly become it. So with her natural abilies surpressed, She is a frightened filly. She is use to waking up senseing the ambient love in the air. She flips out because she doesn't sense it or her changeling hunger.

But yeah, Swinton said it was just an illusion world, so chopping them off probably wouldn't even work.

The wing-to-horse ratio is just too great to survive severing them. Lots of blood loss.

a clean cut, (right where the back meets the wing) followed by immediate pressure. plus, he has high pain tolerance. if need be, he'll sear the wound shut.
