Roleplay Thread

 

Nightmare Moon has been reborn; having killed Luna by devouring her soul she now has a new body along with all of Luna’s powers besides her own. After starting a war against Equestria, and reviving Sombra and recruiting Chrysilis, Nightmare had managed to capture 5 of the 6 elements to fuel her machine to travel through time. In the battle to recover the elements and their wielders Celestia along with Shining and Cadence took the battle to her. Twilight, against their orders joined the battle in an attempt to free her friends before they die. Twilight managed to make it to the machine, she was gravely wounded by Sombra. Left to die in her brothers hooves and using the last spark of life from Twilight’s friends Nightmare opened the portal and slipped through along with Sombra and one general and leaving Chrysilis to hold off the rest.  Upon killing Chrysilis it was decided that 6 ponies should follow Nightmare into the past to stop her. It’s up to the power of the 6 ponies to find a way to stop Nightmare Moon from destroying Equestria and to find a way to reverse the events of the future.

Rules

•This RP I would like to go at a good pace but not so fast that when I get back on after an hour I end up finding 6 pages to read.

 

•I also want players that are going to be committed to this RP at least 1 post a day and not make a post and then be gone for a week before posting again.

 

•Don't introduce something without discussing it with me first if I like it, it will probably go into the RP and everypony will be told what's going on.

 

•No 18+ content. I will allow blood and normal battle stuff since this is a battle against Nightmare Moon. If you aren't sure about something please contact me.

 

•No God-Modding obviously.

 

•Spelling is important I won't stand for small posts make sure your posts are at least a good length so don't cheat the limit on this.

 

•Have fun this is a recreational roleplay I will not allow arguing if you have a problem with another player then let me know and we can discuss it in a private chat.

 

•No Alicorns unless it’s to be the queen.

 

•Please stick to the plot if you want to make a suggestion to move the story somehow then let me know and I'll consider it.

 

•No Mary Sue's.

 

•Finally remember to have fun and keep this PG-13 at most.

Wel basic abilities include:

Heart sense: This ability is similar to empathic sense. Being a princess type changeling, despite not having the rank, She is one of the most emotion sensitive changelings alive. The only changeling more sensitive then her is a nurturer type changeling.

 

Basic standard magic with telekinesis and short range telepathy.

 

Advanced Changeling Shapeshifting: This ability is more advanced then the standard shapeshifting for a changeling. Harder to detect then normal. Has three forms of 4 chosen that are under what is known as perfect shapeshifting. These forms are her most used and not even another changeling can detect her while using them.

 

Improved Enchantment and illusion magic Spells.

 

Gives abilities as changeling include:

 

Emotion feeding: can feed off of the emotions of others to survive. The more loving and positive the emotion, the more nourishing it is.

 

Evolution Chrysalis: once conditions are meet, (at DM's discretion) changeling undergoes the possess of evolution. They come closer to achieving what the Changeling calls its final evolution. Is able to undergo in one life time Three evolutions. Each one makes the Changeling stronger or more adept at something then they use to be.

 

(The abilities bellow are for highly specialized RPs and are optional.)

 

Aura Magic: ancient form of magic thought to be lost. Can cast specialized spells from the different aura types or channel already know standard spell through the aura instead of the horn. Full body glows with aura colors.

current auras and their colors:

Pink/Love: also called a mother's love. This aura heals the user and to a lesser extent all ally targets with 30-60 feet of user. Can use Mother's Furry aura attack spell.

 

Silver/Hope: also called Valor's Light. This aura makes the user immune to fear. Grants allies within 30-60 feet a resistance to fear effects. Can use Valor's Wingstorm Aura Spell.

 

Red/anger or rage: This aura increases the users physical strength and endurance. Allies gain no benefit but the enemies are hit with a fear effect similar to an intimidation. Willpower to control, form looks to be more closely to a nightmare's form then normal. Can use Rage of the Ancients aura spell. (yes this aura spell is similar to rage of the gods/titans from god of war.)

 

Fear/Black: This is an aura that makes anyone cower in fear. Must consume fear for food to use. Aura user almost becomes fear itself. Allies and enemies in range must either face ther worst fear or looks away from user. Willpower to control, form becomes like that of greater Nightmare. Can use Nightmare's Curse aura spell.

 

Aura Sinc: can sinc two main aura as one aura. 100% Sinc Valor's Love aura. Combines the effects of both Valor's Light and Mother's Love Auras. Can use both aura spells.

 

(This is just her mainspells.)

 

The Final Evolution: It is the pinicle of a changeling's strength. Once achieved, changeling is considered at maximum power. This evolution is the last of the three evolutions. It is also the hardest evolution to obtain. (conditions for final evolution is by DM discretion.)

For this particular RP, that's up to @@Flareon. He can decide to be more strict than the forum would normally be for his RP. Hmmm I'll let there be swearing but like others said within a reasonable level. I woould like to keep it pony language for the most part but I will allow swearing. If I see it a lot in one post or quite a bit in multiple posts by the same person. They'll get a warning first then kicked if it continues.

So Flareon, What do you think of Chrysteel's ability list?

 

That's quite a detailed list of the powers. I'm ok with most basic magic and stuff for her while she's in changeling form, bu since we're going back in time, I would say that changeling powers are lost since it would alter her form. Also fear and such status effects wouldn't really be needed in this since it's not running like that, but she can keep the healing but just not like healing any wound type of stuff. Other than that I really like her layout and build, she's one of the most thought out and detailed characters I've seen.

Being that Chrysteel is by current form a princess type/class she would fit to just about any one of the elements but also being that she is a princess class/type, She would best fit the role of a potential leader. She has had formal royal training but not much actual use. So either kindness, do to her not wanting to be made out to be a prude, or Leadership/magic.
