You ask for proof as to how we had discovered these lands. Enclosed are the records of the initial settlement; the population of a primary few families, their businesses, and the somewhat dull history. A few months of silence and a team was sent in. All we found was fluff, and no bears. But there were horses. Ever since then, we have had scouts in our lost territory, and surrounding locations, searching for the reason. Unfortunately, recent events open up the possibility it was the "Un-Ted". Which means if there were more than the ones we exterminated, there could be great danger. If you happen to see any bears with a green complexion, perhaps a bit moldy, light blue eyes with red centers..burn them. Burn them the moment you see them. This is a possible reason of the refugees. That, or perhaps a Socialist system isn't for everybear. Oh, sorry, everypony.

 

If you wish to discuss these matters personally, I will make my arrival as soon as possible. Until then, make sure these letters are secure. If anybear was to suspect that the danger of the "Un-Ted" has returned, there would be mass panic.

How did first meet Discord?

 

If you mean how did I first meet discord, well that is not too hard to answer. Long ago in the past when me and Luna were traveling over Equestria, we found this tyrant causing terrible catastrophe and misery with his demented chaos obsession. We knew he wouldn't end his "reign" so me and Luna had no choice but to use the elements of Harmony to turn him into stone.

 

Since then, we have been trying to build a better home for everypony, and we have succeeded. Things are much better than when Discord was around.

Well he did break free once, and he could possibly do it again. And once he does, I'll make sure that he gets sealed again, one way or another.

 

You do have a point about your order/chaos part. However, nature can create enough chaos, and just the nature of how someponies live can create nature to ensure the order is truly there.

And there is much more to raising the sun than just making my horn glow. It requires a lot of focus and concentration. I have a feeling you are doubting my abilities

The trick isn't the shampoo, It's how you wash it. I use a magical waterfall. They give glorious results.

Well you are free to believe what you want. However, raising the sun and moon is not something only I have done. Remember it took an awful amount of unicorns to do the task before me and Luna started taking over that duty.

 

If I was you, I would be more concerned about your abilities than my own. If you can't control your own magic, it sounds like it may be your own undoing. So I'd put some training into it.

And I've been curious for a while, Gilda and I got into a pretty interesting conversation about the Equestrian education system, and talking of eductaion, I got interested in the legal system, but Gilda couldn't answer all my questions about it, and I thought, bbeing the ruler of Equestria for thousands of years you might be able to, so can you describe the Equestrian education and legal systems?

Well...that's the thing about being immortal isn't it?

 

I've had many, many students. I loved them all.They learned so much, and taught me so much in all their life times. But they were but unicorns...mortal. I miss them all, and I keep photos of them around for memorial. I was honored to be their teacher.

 

And one day...Twilight will pass on too, and I'll still be here. Lighting a candle for her like the others. And one day a new student will arrive, and so the cycle goes on.

Thank you, I am glad you have not killed my student, the telling of my hundreds of ex-students has gotten me a little emotional about Twilight. You can fly anyways. *Lights up horn and gives SRAS wings.*

Well Equestria is our world. And as for the Education system, we try to make sure that everypony has equal chance to get education. We don't run special schools for rich families and poor. Also there is no pay for the regular schools. The Special schools such as the School for gifted Unicorns is an exception to that rule. The must first prove they have magical talent, and pay a small fee to get in. Whatever the pony discovers is their special talent may determine what they become as an adult stallion or mare, so it is unfair to force them into things at so young an age. Once they get their cutie mark, they can start working towards what they are meant to be once they discover it.

 

As for the laws, they are quite simple and deal a lot with morals and virtues. anything involving assault, killing, disregard for pony rights, hate-crimes, stealing, etc are all against the law. Also going into unauthorized areas such as certain places in Canterlot's palace will get you in trouble, but not arrested for first offences.

Oh, and me and Luna both discuss the new laws before they are implimented, we then set up counsel with the mayors of each town/city to see if they want to pass or reject the law.

Yes, this has helped, but I was more interested in Secondary and Post-Secondary educations, and I'm not really sure how to turn that into a question, I am most curious about how similar it is to ours, to graduate Secondary school in Earth,30-32 credits and 40 community service hours are required to graduate, and I haven't looked too much into Post-Secondary requirements, also the basics, 10 years of Elementry and Pre-School, 4 years of secondary, and post-secondary depends on the career you choose, how similar are the Equestrian and Earth Education systems? I'd also like to know more about the legal system, but don't know enough to provide examples

My mistake in speech, horses, ponies, honestly I can't tell much difference myself. Is one...smaller than the other? Well, they most certainly were tiny horses. Like the ones you have around now, with the absence of the Uni-Ponies and Pegasus population.

 

Now, there are certain dangers to discuss..including those of..external threat. I've heard tale of alternate Celestia's. Many of the United Federation fear centuries of rule may have...done, something, to your neural pathways. Either you've magically split into a group of Celestia's, or you have a mental disorder. Either way, this can cause problems as powerfully as the Un-Ted returning..at least we've experience. Mind explaining this issue, after we've settled the land rights?

Well once a pony is of age and has thier cutie mark they can decide what they want to do with their life. There are certain courses for specific needs that a pony may feel he or she needs to do what they want to do in life. With those said courses, they can expand into doing what they like to do. We don't require community service requirements because everypony should be helping the communities anyways. With Winter Wrap up for example, and the Running of the leaves, to producing weather/hurricanes.

 

I would say that Equestrian and earth educations are similar in most details.

 

If you can come up with any questions about the legal system feel free to ask!

 

One thing I forgot to mention is that we don't use big jails. There are my dungeons, but those are for...specific troublemakers...

 

If a pony is convicted of a crime, we get a letter from the town the pony resides in, and we go there to do a trial. From there we judge the pony as innocent, guilty, and what will be done. If it is say murder, the pony may be exiled and excluded from society for a certain amount of time, or for life. Say if it was stealing, then that pony may have to pay a large sum of bits, or something else a long with that depending on the amount of bits worth of goods stolen. If the pony refuses, then we can send that pony into my palace dungeons.

 

I just want to be blunt that we DO NOT harm anypony. We want to promote kindness, tolerance, and friendship, this is all for correctional purposes, not abusing power.
