Tyra returned to the group with Radiant, and sat next to him, avoiding eye contact with the others both out of shame for her behaviour and frustration for the incident.

One of the strangers decided to introduce his group. So the sword pony is Caliber, is he? She would remember that.

"Tyra Shatterhoof," she grumbled, "Of the Shatterhoof Clan in the Frozen North."

caliber, grumbling, took his place next to strider. "im caliber, as you heard." he said bluntly, "the wanderer."

he wanted to leave. but his allies wouldn't leave with him. so, he either had to stay, or abandon his friends. and he knew which one he should stick with.

tyra shatterhoof, eh? he wouldn't admit it out loud, but he was rather enjoying that fight...

Strider smiled at Lunar--he felt he could get along with the 'older fellow', as he had called himself. His head moved sharply to face Amore as she introduced herself and apparently recognized him. Few ponies could--the resistance group he had been apart of had not sought notoriety--she knew a lot. In that case, she was either seriously against Tirek, or for him.

He blinked and listened to Radiant's introduction. "I am sorry for what happened as well, but what's done is done." he told the respectful unicorn. He was... pleasant, and clearly didn't want to fight anymore than Strider did. If Amore was traveling with a pony like him, a member of the famous Baltimore resistance (which he didn't altogether approve of), than she was most likely trustworthy. "A pleasure to meet you all, Shatterhoof, Sentinel, Amore, Lunar. Do apologize to Alex if I don't get to see her again."

He gave Tyra his attention now. The Shatterhoof clan--he'd heard of them, referred to as the most violent ponies in a time of peace. Strong, boisterous, quick to fight, extremely hardy (which they had to be, given that they lived so far up north). "I have heard of your family--your clan. You must be very strong, then." he said, calmly, then turned his attention to who he really wanted to speak to, though didn't show it--Amore.

"Amore, correct? I'm surprised at your knowledge of me." He said, watching her, inviting her to explain herself. Something was off about her--he realized what abruptly as he looked at her face and saw the sharp teeth.

She then looks away shyly, "I am sorry. It is hard to control one's empathic abilities when one hasn't had a good meal in a while."

I don't take like the old tales say. If I can't gain what I need willingly given, I don't gain it at all. Even if it would kill me."

She thinks for a moment and then says, "I watched your fight from a far. I wasn't and still am not strong enough to fight against him."

Red was surprised by the... pleasantness of the group, so soon after they'd been at each others' throats.

"It is a pleasure to meet you all," Red said. Well, if not a pleasure, it was very interesting. She couldn't remember when last she'd seen such a large group of non-hostile ponies. "I suppose I should apologize for my actions, as well," she said to Alex, "I was irrational." She had attempted to attack the dog chargng at her. But, the other group had apologized and so should she. Even if she didn't really mean it.

She listened to Aurora, and became slightly wary. Could this pony read minds..? There was just something off about her, something that rubbed her fur the wrong way.

caliber looked at Amorè, bewildered, for a moment. how could she tell all that? is it possible she can read auras, too? and if she could, that was pretty advanced reading on her part...

he decided to take a peek at her aura.

he closed his eyes and opened them with a hazy look. her aura...wasn't quite anything he'd seen before...it was pony, that much was sure, but it wasn't...pure pony. perhaps a hybrid?

@@Midnight_Aurora,

She was almost certainly a vampony--but a friendly one, he decided after a moment, and one who didn't like Tirek any more than he did. But, hungry vamponies--friendly or not--could be dangerous. He considered for a moment. It seemed as though the other group had only just gotten together, and he didn't want to sew seeds of distrust immediately after their union. He would offer her some of his own blood later, in private, if they did band together and if it was necessary. "Then it is a true pleasure to meet you, Amore, as a fellow rebellious subject to another." He said, dipping his head to her, deciding now to trust her--to trust them all. They did seem good ponies as he examined them now, out of combat.

Upon hearing Strider's words, Tyra perked up, her expression softening.

"Aye, we all are," she nodded, feeling a little better, "We have been using the rough weather or the North as a cover from the forces of Discord and Tirek, until the time comes that we may be called to arms against them."

She bowed her head to the newcomers. "I apologise for my actions, I hope you can forgive me."

Amorè's aura is a perfect mix of pink and silver. It is definitly not pure pony but the pony side is masking its counterpart.

Amorè looks to Caliber, "Are you confused? My Empathic abilities allowed me to make a judgement based on your state on emotions."

@Reaver

She nods, "The pleasure is mine. Also a little something you all should know about my kind of Vampony. We don't drink blood. I personally find the taste of blood appalling. Also blood can't truely be given because one would be giving away part of their precious life as well."

@@Unicorncob,

Well, Strider had gotten lucky. He hadn't realized he would ever run into this many anti-Tirek ponies within 24 hours. "Well, the time may be coming soon," he said quietly, fantasies of recruiting the tough Shatterhoof clan to the fight against Tirek. "And no need to apologize to you either," he added, chuckling. "We all jumped to conclusions in that fight." Well, except for him. And Amore and Radiant, who hadn't been there.

@@Midnight_Aurora,

"Empathic abilities, hm?" he said, raising his eyebrows slightly. She may not be powerful physically, but she was going to be an extremely useful ally, if it turned out how he wanted it. "Never heard of those sorts of abilities myself, but they seem incredibly useful."

"So, where are you all headed?" He asked, mostly addressing Radiant now. He prayed they had no purpose, or were going to the Badlands themselves. If so...

But if I don't gain it, I will lose myself to my hunger and become one of the worst types of beings you will meet. I don't want that."

Amorè is looking to all those around her. She takes a small peak into their hearts. Her aura pulses for only a moment. She only detects their hearts' surface and what they feel at this time.

That pony, Amore, was definitely suspicious. She could practically read their minds just from her "emphatic abilities." This disturbed her, because she was very good at hiding emotions outwardly, but not at all inwardly.

She glanced at Strider when he questioned of where they were headed. He wasn't interested because he wanted them to join too? Could he be? If that were the case, they would become a walking target. There was no way they could kill changelings and be able to remain inconspicuous, as one or two ponies could do easily enough. They would become known.

Radiant realized when Strider asked his question he focused his attention at him. Radiant looked at him which his stoic expression still unwavering. "I cannot speak for the rest, but I am merely a traveling... vigilante for lack of a better term. I escort ponies who need to travel to safer locations and while I'm out on my own I kill patrols as a distraction for other popular travel routes." He said looking up to the sky as he spoke.

Radiant returned his attention to Strider. "It was merely coincidence that we all met." He stated.

(Welp, I missed quite a bit... Let's see if I can do a quick lil summary of the dog's current mind-set...)

When Lunar had approached her, she merely growled at him, still not very pleased to talk to him just yet. After a small pause once the griffin left, Alex reluctantly decided to backtrack a little, but didn’t go all the way up to the group, just far enough that her heightened hearing could pick up the conversation.

"I apologize for the trouble they caused and will take full responsibility for the actions that ensued because of my inviting Alex on a run."

The canine frowned at that, since when was he responsible for her?! She knew how to take care of herself, as well as be able to take responsibility of her actions. Was nopony on her side today!? As much as she wanted to, she refused to march over there and give her ‘allies' a piece of her mind.

The diamond dog was finding this discussion less and less interesting, and on certain topics —the one that had mentioned her in particular—were only making her more angry... So long as she didn’t hear anything to fuel her anger any further, she wouldn’t blow her top... Until then, she was just teetering on the verge of leaving.

Amorè looks to Alex, "Are you angry? Care to share it with us?"

Amorè doesn't like anger to be one's driving force. She knows Alex can be happier. She desires as much. She gets up and goes over to her. She then gives her a random hug. Amorè hopes this will help her feel better.

@@Chip Circuit,

"A coincidence..." Strider mused. He, personally, did not believe in fate. The thought of destiny rather disturbed him. But, unreasonably, he suddenly hoped that something beyond a coincidence had brought them together.

He stared at them all for a moment, his thoughts wandering. Alex seemed extremely annoyed, which could be potentially dangerous, but as a pony--dog--she seemed nice enough. As Amore hugged Alex, he hoped her annoyance was helped. He doubted it was completely--but as a stranger at the moment, who Alex most likely associated with the uncomfortable experience, he doubted his ability to help the matter himself.

"We're all travelers here, I suppose. Well then," he began, changing the subject. He dropped the boulder, abruptly, not knowing how else to do it. "Would you all like to travel with Red, Caliber, and I to the Badlands and destroy a bandit outpost that has been ruining the lives of many innocents across Equestria?"

Oh, Celestia's golden hooves, he'd said it. She outright face-hooved. She should have known.

"Um, Strider," she said and moved closer to him and whispered, though of course everyone around them could hear her, "I'm not sure you're thinking quite well. Perhaps you didn't sleep enough. I'll take watch tonight. But uh, we just met these ponies."

caliber's ear twitched. 'what?!' he thought, 'did you just invite them to travel with us?!' a couple thousand more thoughts ran though his head.

he kept silent, however. he said nothing, and just sat there with his head bowed.

'if im gonna travel with them, then i might as well...'

he jerked his head away from them. "sorry." he said stiffly, and suddenly.

Alex, though, was who she was worried about. She walked up to the diamond dog, and bowed her head.

"I apologise for my actions offending you," she said solemnly, "I meant no harm toward you, I simply wished to protect an ally. I did not wish to lose one."

Upon hearing Caliber's apology, she turned to face him, and bowed her head.

"As am I."

Radiant looked back at Amore and Alex as Amore attempted to help the canine feel better, he hoped it would help because he didn't like seeing allies upset or angry. Radiant's attention snapped back to Strider when a question was presented to the their group, he nodded at the elder pony. "I would be honored to join you if it means protecting the lives of innocents." He stated.

Radiant seemed like a very good pony, she thought. He and Strider would get along well. Though that didn't mean she supported the idea of becoming a walking party.

Red noticed Alex. How long had the dog been listening? She wondered. But now was as good a time as any to apologize. After all, if the others had, she should too. She considered getting up and moving to the dog a little ways away, but decided to stay put.

"I am sorry for attacking you, I acted in haste," she called to Alex, before turning back to Strider and awaiting a response.

@@Little Red,

"My thinking is perfectly fine, Red," he said, smiling at her. "I know these are strangers. but I trust them. I believe they are good ponies, griffins, and diamond dogs, respectively." He said, giving Alex and Lunar friendly nods.

@,

"I'm sorry," Strider added, apologetically to Peyton. "I probably should have asked you of your opinion. I suppose I'm used to doing things mine and Red's way." He grimaced slightly. "If you are angry at me and wish to leave for inviting these ponies, I will understand, though I will be very sad to see you leave." he blinked at Caliber's apology, and smiled to himself. Well, everypony is apologizing to everypony else today. He thought.

@@Chip Circuit,

"Good," Strider replied, pleased at the response. "So, how about everypony else?"

Alex had glanced away for just a moment, when she suddenly heard one of the ponies —Amoré— ask a question that seemed to obviously be directed towards her. Turning back to look at the group, she noticed the grey-coated mare walk over to her. She raised a brow slightly at this, not quite sure what to expect when she was suddenly hugged by the pony.

This surprised the canine, and her expression clearly showed it. Although she was still fairly anger, her anger wasn’t really directed at Amoré to begin with, so she stayed put without an objections to the embrace.

Upon noticing Tyra approach however, she snorted, not quite pleased to see her so soon. At the mare’s apology, after a long pause, Alex took a deep breath and replied, "Hmmm... Fine... Apology accepted..." She honestly didn't want to accepted so soon, considering how angry she still felt. However, a small part of her, deep down, thought it was better to do it now rather than later... You never know what could happen during times like these.

It wasn't longer after her reply that her ears twitched, hearing yet another apology from the group down the road that was directed towards her as well. She simply nodded her head for that one since the distance between them would have required she yell a bit and she'd rather not do that.

With all the apology accepting and Amoré hugging her around the waist, she hadn't really been focusing on Strider's request. So when he asked the rest of the travelers what they thought of his offer, she wasn't quite sure what he was talking about. The diamond dog frowned in confusion, looking down at the grey pony for some possible clarification "What was the question...?" She asked, her voice expressed that she was still moody, but not quite as angry as from before the hug.

Lunar had remained silent through most of the talking, but upon the request of the other leader, Radiant had offered them up to go with them. Lunar simply nodded and walked alongside the others. " I will be glad to help rid this area of bandits. Maybe it will contribute some towards the rebuilding of this area, if ponies and others ever come back" Lunar said, looking around at all the others. Alex was angry with him still, but he sensed.....something else was part of the problem. Usually, when a pony reacted in a strange way, there was another element at play. He would talk to her about it later.

He looked to the leader, Strider. " After this, perhaps, we can sit down from some relaxing tea. I do love to treat others to the special way I make it" Lunar said with a great smile, trying to ease things in the group.
