The heart is hard to translate, for it has a language of its own. It talks, tongues, quietly sighs, prays, and prays on the great days of great men and the smallest of gestures, in short shallow gasps.

 

But in all my education, I can never seem to commend it; All the words are escaping me coming back damaged. I would be able to put it back into poetry if only I knew how, but I can't seem to understand it.

 

I would give all this and heaven, too; I would give it all if only for a moment that I could understand the meaning of the word you see. I've been scrawling it forever, but it never makes sense to me...
