With Christopher Lees most recent death, it's time to pay tribute to one of the greatest actors ever. But which one his greatest and most iconic role?

 

I would say that Dracula is his greatest role. Some would say that Bela Lugosi is the better Dracula and he is certainly great. But he just dosen't sound as menacing and seductive then Christopher Lee does. His voice is really getting to good use here, making him really sound like he is the lord of darkness himself. There is some nostalgia BS with it, since this is one of the first Horror movies i watched, but even if that's the case, you can't ignore this great performance.

 

So, what is your favorite performance?

For me, it would be Saruman. I just loved that character .

Saruman certainly the first movie i saw him in is in LoTR and i thought why cant we have more villains like this

How dare you leave out King Haggard from The Last Unicorn?! Just kidding. Doesn't rank up there with his greatest roles, but that one is my favorite.

I was thinking about that, but that is more of a VA role. I am talking about REAL acting here, though i like his role in the last unicorn.

Hands down Wicker Man for me. That film doesn't get enough praise, and Lee as Lord Summerisle was brilliant. Saruman would be his second best role. I also noticed the absence of TLU, but it was not his best performance anyway.

While I'm more familiar with Dooku and Saruman, Dracula was what got him to the top.

I haven't watched any of the older movies with him in it; so I chose Sarumon from the LOTR trilogy. He did such a great job in those movies.

Honestly...it may be a little stupid, but...my honest complete favorite would be as Wily Wonka's dad in the Chocolate Factory revamp.  I haven't seen it in forever, I really should again sometime.
