Kyubi nodded slightly and was relieved that the dryad was still alive. She was, however, angry that her memories had been invaded in such a way. The dark elf then moved away from the three and walked around the area. She needed to think over a few things. If the planet itself took the dryad's magic, then the plan they already had was a lost cause and if it could send her memories to the dryad, then what else could it do?

Chain: "she still has her magic but not much else, what I mean is she is only working on magic" he paused to think "if her mana goes to zero then she will die"

Banner: "the earth gave Dryad her body and form as well as her earth powers"

Chain: "its not all bad, potions and mana circles can keep her alive" he tried to put a good spin on it

Agravain said "Heavenly Body Magic, Meteor!" and was enveloped in the golden aura that he was in before they found the tower. He almost immediately caught up with the group and then said "You guys can go faster, right?" before zooming off and out of sight.

Blirz sighed as his feet landed back on the ground. "A little warning next time would be appreciated." He thought, as he gently squeezed Shana's hand. "Anyway, we shouldn't be long." He said as he began to walk away from the group. He had a plan on what he wanted to do and he figured that there was a good chance that Shana would like what he had in mind.

Shana smiled happily as she walked with Blitz through the forest. Leaning against his arm as she walked, she felt comfortable with him at her side. "We should take walks more often. It's a nice feeling with it just being the two of us together. *sigh* Moments like this I never want to end. ~Nyan."

Blitz smiled slightly and nodded. "I agree." He said, before kissing Shana on the forehead. "I actually have a surprise for you. " The Neko was a bit nervous, but he really hoped that she would accept the gift he had in mind.

 

Gale growled slightly as Agravian rushed buzz, but didn't attempt to faster. To be honest, this wasn't even her top speed. She could easily break Mach one if she went into a high enough dive but she also wanted to spend time with midnight.

Blitz smiled slightly and nodded. "I agree." He said, before kissing Shana on the forehead. "I actually have a surprise for you. " The Neko was a bit nervous, but he really hoped that she would accept the gift he had in mind.

"Oh? A surprise? A wonder what it could be? Should I close my eyes and hold out my hands, or should I turn around? You've gotten my hopes up now, don't disappoint now.~Nyan" Shana closed her eyes and held out her hands towards Blitz. Her mind thought of what this surprise could be, and she started to get impatient.

Kyubi nooded slightly as she glanced at the dryad. "We can't really do anything until the others get back." She said, as she sat on the ground. To be honest, she felt at bit useless at the moment. There wasn't much she could do to help the dryad. "Do you think you could transfer some of my mana to her? I don't know if that would help but it may weaken her dependance on the earth for it's power."

Blitz nodded slightly and felt his chest tighten from nerves as he opened the secret compartment on his armor. He then pulled out a necklace of silver with multiple gemstones, alexandrite being the main gem while smaller ruby, peridot, morganite, and moonstone gems surrounded it. The neko had found out that he could charge the gems with his own mana and had done so prior to this, making it seem like the gems were glowing. If he was lucky, Shana would be able to access the magic in the gems and not have to use mana potions. The neko then moved behind his girlfriend and put the necklace on her. "Ok. You can open your eyes now." He said. To be quite honest he was afraid that she wouldn't like it and that all of this would be a waste.

Chain: "well there is two things in mana transfer, we saw a permanent one be performed on the Dryad and then there is a temporary transfer aka mana potions and the such"

Banner: she put her hand on Kyubi "I have once felt just like you in this situation, it was the same place Chain lost his magic but as you can see he got it back" 

Chain: "Well thanks to you and I'm still wondering what you did to beet that wizard"

When Shana opened up her eyes and felt the area around her neck. Her eyes widened and she let out a small gasp. "It's... its... its a mana pool necklace. These enchanted rocks absorbed and provide me with mana. And it's so beautiful too. And so amazingly crafted." She immediately hugged Blitz, giving him a large kiss. "Thank you Master! I love it. I love you!" He eyes teared up with happiness. To think that Master would go out of his way to buy her an item like this, it's unthinkable. But she loved him for it. "This means a lot to me Master. Thank you soo much!"

If Blitz could fly, he would be in the upper atmosphere by now. He thought that Shana would like the necklace, but he didn't expect this much of a reaction. "I figured you would. I noticed you didn't like the mana potion so now you won't run out of mana as much. There's also mana already inside the gems so you won't have to waste your own on the first charge." He said, before wrapping his arms around her."I love you to, Shana." Blitz then returned the kiss and was curious to see where this would go.

"Well Master, since you've been so kind enough as to give me this gift. I feel like some kind of compensation is in order. I have something in mind, but you're just going to have to wait for a while to find out what I'm talking about. *giggle*" She said this while maintaining a rather strong Poker Face without any indication of tone in her voice. "Well, shall we go back to chain and the others? Or do we go straight to the town I was talking about? You're choice."

Blitz gave a sly smirk and gave a low purr. "I can't wait." He said. "Anyway, we should probably head back to Chain and the others. Gale, Mdinight, and the dark knight should be able to hadle themselves should anything happen." The neko had to admit that he was very lucky to have someone like Shana. She brought out a side of him that he didn't even know existed and he was glad with everything that had happened between them, except for maybe the fiasco with Blaze. That wasn't in his control, though, so it didn't really count.

"Okay! Let's go!" Taking his hand, she led the walk back to Chain and the others. On their way back, the heavens opened up on them and a heavy downpour was unleashed upon them. Just their luck, she hoped it would be small, alas, it was not.

 

"OI! Chain, Banner, Dryad! Let's get moving. I don't want to be in this rain any longer than we have too. Two and a half hours of walking through heavy rain! I swear I'm going to get sick after this!"

I hardly flinch as Gale and Agravain zoom by.

"Well, we shouldn't just let them win now."

"You thinking what I'm thinking?"

"Blazing Steed?"

"You crazy? we don't want to set the forest on fire too, I was thinking Lightning sprint."

"That works too."

I lower my mental barriers, the Dryad didn't seem malicious, for now, I leave the room there though in case it decides to go snooping.

"Alright then... Fulgur Concitus!"

 

A bolt of lightning lances down from the storm clouds, striking the pair in a blaze of light before they suddenly rush forward, quickly gaining on Agravain's position. Raw energy pour off the pair, giving the appearance of a streak of light as they travel through the forest.

Banner: "oh hey Blitz your back"

Chain: "hi Blitz, we have a bit of a problem with Dryad though" he said in a worried tone then looked over to Shana "you don't have to be mean for no good reason at us" Chain looked at her more thinking that something was new on her "what's with the necklace?"

Banner: "I'm going to carry the Dryad" she said picking her up and started walking "aren't you a 'support' Shana if you get a cold just use a spell to heal it"

Gale looked back to see Mdinight and the dark knight speeding towards her and was a bit impressed. "Well, that's new." She said, as she continued to fly through the storm.

 

Blitz shrugged slightly as he looked into the sky. He wasn't much of a fan of rain, but it was better than being hot and sweaty in the afternoon sun. "Come on. We should start heading to the town." He said." He said, trying to ease the mood. "The last thing we need is to fight in the middle of a storm." With that, the neko began to head in the direction that Gale and the others had went in.

Kyubi put the hood of her cloak up and that managed to stop most of the rain from hitting her head. "I agree with Blitz. We should follow the others before the weather gets to bad." She said before following said neko.

 

The dragon gave a low growl as the rain started. This was it's natural habitat, a stormcloud filled to the brim with lightning for it's powers. Of course, it wasn't to pleased when it saw that someone had forced a bit of lightning out of the clouds and that brought it's attention to the dark knight and Midnight. The dragon then gave a loud roar as lightning traveled into its the spikes on it's back and head, before diving straight down and towards the two. It hadn't seen the dragoness so this shouldn't be to much of a problem.

Chain: "I guess we'll talk about how the Dryad is slowly dying on the way then" he said in a bit of an angry manner still looking at the necklace Shana had "is that...it is, a mana pool necklace? what better luck!" he said happily

Banner: "I guess I can explain most of this stuff" she said walking with the others then started explaining all she could about the Dryad

Blitz had listened to what Banner had to say and he wasn't really pleased. He had no idea that something like this could happen and it could put the entire group in danger should they need her assistance. "I wish there was something I could do to help." He thought to himself.

 

Gale noticed the dragon heading straight for Midnight and the dark knight and for the first time since meeting Blitz, she felt afraid. The dragoness knew what dragon this was and that it should never be approached unless you have a death wish. Gale's fear then turned to anger. She wouldn't allow this thing to hurt those close to her. "Get away from them." She roared in a language that could only be understood by dragons. A high pitched whistle resound through the air before Gale revealed the fire within her and shot a shaped charge of oxygen/acetylene fueled flame at the dragon, intending to drive it off course, and flew into the air, not concerned with the small race she was having with Midnight. When the shaped charge was a few feet away from both parties, it exploded into a purple fireball and light of the same color illuminated the area.

The dragon was surprised to say the least and pulled back before the fire could come any close, not that it would do much against its scales. The dragoness had succeeded at driving it away from those who had stolen from it, but now its attention was trained solely on the night fury. "It's about time you showed up." He growled as he followed Gale into the sky. "But you are a fool to think you could take me in the skies."

 

Kyubi heard the explosion and winced as the light from the fire shone through the darkness of the storm. "What was that?" She asked, looked at the others. The dark elf hadn't seen anything like that and it made her a bit uneasy.

Blitz stopped in his tracks as he heard the screetch and saw the light. The neko then broke into an all out sprint and made a sound similar to the one that was just heard. He then jumped as far forward as he could, closing his eyes.

 

One of Gale's ear plates twitched and she temporarily changed course. The dragoness swooped close to the ground and felt Blitz land on top of her, his hands grasping at the bones of her wings. She then pulled straight up, intending to distract the dragon while the others moved to the city. "Hold on, Blitz." She growled as said neko got adjusted on her back. This wasn't the first time he had rode her, but it was the first time they had to do this in such a dangerous situation.

Banner: "do you think they got this because I think they got this" she said

Chain: he heard a loud boom "I'll tell you why that is good in a bit, first I think we should go with the others quick" he says before he runs in the direction the group went

Banner: she saw Chain "great now we need Shana, after we get her we book it to the town, I hope there is only one dragon"

The dragon was surprised with Gale's slight deviation, but felt his anger grow when he noticed that she allowed a neko to ride her. "You've made a mistake, little night fury." He growled as the lightning in the storm went into his spikes. The dragon then gave a loud roar as lightning shot out of his maw. The dragoness had revealed her fire, so he would be courteous to do the same. "I don't know why you care for those two, seeing as how they basically stole from me."

Gale's eyes widened as she saw the lightning and shot her own fire in defense, causing a explosive chain reaction. "Really now. Do you honestly think that you own lightning just because you can basically channel it into your body?" She asked, not really amused. "I mean really. That's no reason to attack them. As for why I protect them, that's none of your business."

 

Blitz pulled himself into a sitting position and looked at the dragon. "Well, this is unexpected." He said, not going for his sword. That would only provoke the dragon so the best thing he could do would be to let Gale and this strange dragon talk it out. The only reason he was there was to provide support if needed.
