@@Drago Ryder,

"I'm done with this ragtag team of loose cannons, myself included. We do not work together as well as we should, and we are going far off track. Neither does it seem that anyone in the group much cares for me. I am going to go find an old friend, a professional in this... Business, shall we say. Best of luck to you in the Dark Elf territory. If there is anything else you would like to say, say it now," Agravain replied.

Meanwhile, in the town the scepters had attacked...

A stalwart man in heavy plate armor was walking through the ruins of the town he once called home. He recognized some of the damage, a very recognizable "footprint," so to say. "Well, old friend, it seems like our paths may cross again," said the man in a deep, thick Australian accent.

Lance nodded slightly and stood, before leaving Shana to her own thoughts. He had what he needed and now only needed the right moment to carry out his plan.

Blitz laughed a bit and sighed. "Oh, I wouldn't really describe us as loose cannons, but I get what you're saying." He said. "I hope you find whatever it is you're looking for, then. Hopefully we'll meet again." The dragoness and neko then headed back to the ship, knowing that they would probably have to tell the others about what had happened.

Apollo smirked slightly at Ckay's reaction to Midnight talking. "Well, that was entertaining." He said, before turning his full attention. "So, how did you and Gale meet? I can tell you two are close and a relationship between a dragon and pony doesn't really happen that often."

Kyubi sighed as she looked out the window and into the horizon. Images of her past flashed in her mind, causing her to shake in fear. "That's all in the past." She thought.

@,

Meanwhile...

Midnight turned to face Apollo. "Well, we met back at the tower, she happened to know the dialect of dragon I speak, and we talked. I can understand how dragon & pony relationships are scarce here, especially since there aren't many ponies like me here. In fact, I may be one of the only ponies on this entire planet given that I haven't seen any others since I arrived. Back on my world dragon/pony relationships weren't too common either, given that one lives for millennia and the other for barely a century at best. I on the other hand will live almost 10 millennia if my luck holds out. Besides, Gale is a very nice dragon compared to the ones I'm used to, they're more like you."

Apollo nodded slightly. "I guess you could say the same for dragons. As far as I know, Gale and I are the only two dragons left, and it doesn't really surprise me that you would say that. She's always been the most optimistic when it comes to others, while I'm basically the polar opposite of her." He said. The dragon knew it would complicate things, but he might as well shed a bit of light on his past, along with Gale's. "Our mother died before we were even hatched, so we relied on each other and the human that raised us as his own to survive. The last time I saw either of them, Gale and I had a bit of a fight. I haven't really been able to talk to either of them for a long time and seeing Gale hasn't been helping either. Heck, I don't even know if she consider sees me her brother anymore, which is probably why she didn't tell you."

@,

Meanwhile...

Apollo's words surprised Midnight, How is that even possible?

A perplexed look came to his face, "How can you and Gale share a mother? You two are very different kinds... Wait, not so different, but still different enough to not be simply M/F differentiation of the species. Furthermore, how can you know you are both of the same nest if she died prior to your hatching? How did you even hatch for that matter?" He raised a hoof to his head and sat down, setting his helmet on the floor next to him. He looked back up at Apollo, a less confused look on his face. "I guess dragons here must be significantly different than the dragons back home. That does explain why Gale didn't want to talk about her family before."

He sighed and looked towards the horizon. "I wonder when Gale will get back, I suppose she might want to add a few things to this."

Meanwhile...

Slend was stunned that his words had caused Agravain to fly off, to leave the group entirely. If he considers me weak, why do my words anger him so? Slend decided he would look about the ship for others to talk to, he was bored after all. He peaked through the floor that Rachel, Chain, Banner, and the Dryad were on, the prospect of new information intrigued him, so he moved to be in the wall near the group to hear what they had to say.

To be quite honest, Apollo had to laugh a little at Midnight's reaction. "I don't know how to explain it, but it's like I could feel Gale's presence even when I was an egg, and we were both raised by the same human so I would assume he hatched us. Either way, family isn't about who you're related to. Family are those who genuinely care for you, no matter what." He said, before sighing and looking out over the sea. The dragon didn't know how his sister would react to the fact that he told Midnight what he had.

As Gale flew through the air, Blitz thought about what Agravian had said and what had happened over the past few days. "I guess he's right in some cases." He thought to himself. His thoughts then turned towards Kyubi and what he knew of her past. "Why would someone go so far as to kill her uncle and parents, and why would Heinrich want her to bring me back?" He thought. A few possibilities popped into her head and he would have to remember to talk with the dark elf later.
