I don't know what this salsa is made of exactly but it is this homemade salsa in this local Mexican restaurant I went to and would love to go back to sometime. I can handle some gnarly stuff but it was too much even for me, it tasted awesome but damn did it even get my mouth on fire and I don't mean the good satisfying kind of burn that I can handle burn.

I don't like peppers that much, and the spiciest kind I can remember eating is Jalapeno ^^; The hottest sauce I've had is Blair's Ultra Death Sauce. My oldest brother really likes spicy food so he got that sauce, and I tried some ^^;

I've heard of Blair's sauces, but I've never heard of Ultra Death Sauce. It does sound extremely hot, though. By the way, your brother sounds a lot like Crude Brother Nick.

Wow.

The flavor might have been demninished from how long the stew was brewing, but it was pretty good. I am sure I still have a few of them around. They were dried so they are not going bad any time soon. I should use them again for something...

I was challenged to eat a whole Habanero pepper, and I did. It was definitely the hottest thing I'd ever eaten... ^_^

I'm interested in doing the same with some hotter peppers, but I don't want anything to do with the Chocolate Bhutlah. That thing is horrid, it has made people writhe in agonizing pain and even hallucinate :wacko:

I don't want anything to do with the chocolate bhutlah either. I'm not that good at spicy food. Another thing, why do people put flags on pepper stems?

I'd guess it's to identify the strains :) They're often grown by companies that grow many other types of peppers, and many can look similar. :)

A family friend of mine makes this super spicy sauce, made pretty much from Thai chilis, that's served with pempek (a type of fish cake, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pempek).The seeds are still intact and having just a teaspoonful is basically like eating a handful of Thai chilis all at once. If you can't stand jalapenos, you'll pretty much die eating it. :P

My brother had ghost pepper chips once! My mouth did not feel too good after, I can tell you. I think spicy food is great, but there's a certain point where it's just spicy to be spicy instead of to enhance the flavor & experience.

I was at a traditional music festival with my grandparents when there were free samples of ghost chilli sauce. I had the tiniest bit and a

I screamed in agony while running to the bathroom to wash my mouth out. I made the horrible mistake of rubbing my eyes. AAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!!!

I can usually handle spicy stuff quite well, but crunchy flamin' hot Cheetos killed me. I've been known by my family to eat jalapenos straight from a jar as a snack.

Also the spicy chips in "Doritos Roulette"... Just no.

...

Is there actually a difference in spice between crunchy and non-crunchy flamin' hot Cheetos though? The crunchy ones killed me but the non-crunchy were perfectly fine.

LOL, I know the feeling of rubbing your eyes and feeling the sting. Any culture in particular, that music festival?
