"Everyone ready? Lets go." Caramel cheered before she started to walk, assuming the others would follow her.

 

The cave was dark, Caramel couldn't see anything but her hoofs in front of her. Yet she had the feeling where ever they were going, they were going downwards. She kept on walking, her hoof-steps echoes through the entire cave.

Rave was quick catching up with Caramel. "Here, allow me to help you". He lit up his horn, to light up the way. "There, that is a lot better" he gave her a friendly smile. "Just want to help you here.... and... uhm... be close with the captain. Who wouldn't want to be?" he blushed.

"Uh Thank you." Caramel said, smiling back. She listened to his compliments... Well compliments... it was more like flirting..not that Caramel mind of course. "You know when walking inside a cave, everything you say echoes. Meaning the others can hear you." Caramel chuckled. "Not that I mind you flirting." Caramel said as she poked him while sticking out her tongue.

Aqua was giggling at the Caramel and Rave's cute moment. She resisted the urge to say, "Aww.." Of course she didn't want to ruin the moment. So Aqua kept quiet.

 

A song that wouldn't stop invading Aqua's mind. 'What an ear worm.' She thought to herself. The song played in her head but Aqua was not about to sing nor hum along. Especially with all these other ponies around. Aqua bit her lip.

Rave blushed. "Oh, uhm yeah.. I knew that. Uhh... yeah.. hehe.." he looked back to the others and saw that Aqua was reaction to it, he then looked back forward and only blushed more, but was still smiling as Caramel was teasing him. He chuckled a bit. "I am not afraid of flirting with you in the open, just so you know, but this did catch me by surprise, I must admit, since I was not trying to be so open about it at that moment".

Tyra walked alongside Aqua, grinning as Caramel and Rave enjoyed a quiet moment together.

She looked up at the seapony, suddenly curious about something.

 

"I have heard the depths of the ocean are incredibly dark," she told her, "are seaponies scared of darkness? Like in caves and such?"

Caramel smiled again, giving him a kiss on his cheek. "I know." Caramel said as she continued walking through the cave. She started to whistle a old happy pirates tune, eventually bursting out in singing, just because she felt like it. She was not shy about it at all.

Aqua shook her head at Tyra's question. "It isn't the darkness of the deep we fear, it is what lurks in the darkness. Of course we have our techniques to fight against what lurks in the deepest of the deep. There are monsters, criminals, and darkness." She said that, wrinkling her nose.

 

Aqua pressed her lips into a line and pondered. "However, once you are in, it is difficult getting out." She added.

Scarlett levitates all the extra baggage away form Lordy and into a portal she opened up not a few moments ago. Closing it, she says "come on Lordy, we have a cave to explore!"

Aqua pressed her lips into a line and pondered. "However, once you are in, it is difficult getting out." She added.

Scarlett walks past Aqua lighting up her horn and saying "Unless you have leave a magical 'breadcrumb' trail behind as we go so we can find out way back."

 

 

'I wish i had a bed to explore now' Lordy told himself. As he had no magic horn to light up his way, he took out his oil lamp and lit it up. It didnt give out as much light as magic did, but it was enough to see where you were walking. 

"I still do not understand what exactly are we looking for here...."

Taking some steps back to Lordy "Hey Lordy, remember last time it was dark and we needed light but my magic was pretty much drained? Remember how we discovered that you have magic but just no way to use it? I could always start the glowing spell on your horn again if you want. Once it's there you should be able to control it with relative ease."

"All this is still kinda new to all this stuff. Im used to do everything the... Manual way. Much like the earth ponies. But didnt you say you are born with magic? Then how is it not available? And I always liked green. And green light, that is most delightful to the eye, i must say."

"I have no idea." Caramel answered. She slowed down her walking so that she ended up next to Scarlett. "The cave is just a little bit deeper than I thought. But no worries my friend. Rest assured, ye will know we're there the moment ye see it." Caramel said with a smile that was probably pretty creepy considering her dark surroundings.

'It feels like we are getting quite deep within the cave now. Who ever hid something here would have made the secrets hard to find. But they would have left a clue. A trail even. Maybe a small crack in the rocks, a line. Or a patter. Shapes maybe, a place that no one would go. Down. A false drop maybe. So many possibilities.'

 

Wade followed behind the group, taking his time to scan the environment carefully ad to not miss a single thing, no detail would be spared. So far, nothing. "This may be more challenging than I originally anticipated. Goddesses know how deep this cave goes, or how many places they could have hidden their secrets. Try keeping an eye open for patterns, the person who put the secret here had to have some way of remembering the way to and from."

"Well, a changeling is an alicorn like creature that can take the form of other ponies. I believe they act like bugs so they also have a queen. In my time there was no queen so the changeling in my family was free. The small amount of Changeling in me allows me to change things like my colours."
