Tyra looked up at the large pieces of rock blocking the exit. She smirked and sat back on her haunches, cracking her forehooves.

"Ha! These rocks are nothing!" She boasted, stretching her heck side to side, "Stand back, friends!"

 

She strode over to the rocks, and felt one of them with her hoof. She tapped a bit with a smirk. "Aye, here."

 

She reeled back her hoof and slammed it into the centre of the boulder with a hoof, causing it to begin cracking and crumbling into pebbles and dust. She began repeating the process for any other rocks in the way.

(Oh darnit, how much have I missed?!)

 

Ace watched Tyra and seemed reasonably impressed at her strength. "Golly, Tyra!" he said. "It's a good thing this team has somepony like you." He flew over to help her. He tried to lift some rocks, but was having a hard time. He wasn't as strong as Tyra, so he settled for moving some of the smaller rocks. Every little helps, right?

Aqua watched Tyra in shock as Tyra tried to find a passage. She turned to face Scarlett. "W-wait, jokes?" Aqua asked, honestly confused by what she meant. Aqua shook her head and then tried to think of ideas on how to find a secret passage way. Then she shook her head again when she decided that maybe she should leave it to Wade.

Wades search was not long, as he found a small crevice in a wall that leaded out to a larger pathway. If his senses told him anything, this little system leads towards the surface. He can't see the end of the passage, but it's should lead back to where they came from. Should.

 

"Hey! I think I found a way out. It's narrow and I'm guessing dark. I hope everyone can fit through."

Caramel trotted over towards Wade. She looked at the small and dark passage way. "Something is better than nothing." Caramel said, putting a hoof to his shoulder. "Alright, everypony let go. I'll go first and leaf the say.. Scarlett, Would ye mind going last? It is important that I dont lose anyone. Can I trust ye on that?"

"Tyra, what are ye doing? That's gonna take too long. It's sweet for ye to come with a solution but that is going to take forever, besides, how are we ever going to get back up from the rift.?" Caramel said looking at Tyra. "There has be a other way out, a secret passage way. That's one thing I learned from exploring all these years. There has be a other way."

Aqua snickered quietly at her pouting and grumbling expression. She then trotted over next to Caramel on the right. "It's going to be a bit of a tight squeeze but I think we can handle it. As long as we get our gills out of here." Aqua stated. She whirled her head around and saw Tyra behind her and stifled a laugh.

"At least the rackling stopped. We could always.... blow it up... Just need to put a pouch of black powder underneath. Would work faster than cracking all the rocks. BUt it would be pretty noisy... and it might cause another landslide. Anyway..."

He took out his pocket watch.

"It is time for my tea."

Lit some dry weeds (they do grow in caves), sat down and started boiling some water.

"Anyone care for some?"

 

Scarlett is shocked at Lordy. "Lordy! This is not the time for tea! Well actually there's always time for tea, but it's not a good idea to start a fire in an enclosed space eating up all the oxygen!"

Scarlett stepped back from the hole and said "I'll wait here until everyone is through."

Scarlett is shocked at Lordy. "Lordy! This is not the time for tea! Well actually there's always time for tea, but it's not a good idea to start a fire in an enclosed space eating up all the oxygen!"

 

"Oh... there is enough oxygen. Even if this entire area was on fire.... it would take at least 4 hours to eat up all of this. There is absolutely no need to worry." Lordy said as he poured himself a cup of hot water and put a tea bag in,

"Now, would you mind for some tea?"

Scarlett used her magic to put out the fire and cool down the cup. She pointed to Lordy, and then pointed at the exit "Go. Now. Before I push you through there myself, without and magic to aid me.

 

She said to anyone who was still in the cave "Something caused the earthquake, and whatever it was left these caves unstable. They could collapse any moment, so I think it's best we all get out as soon as possible"

"Oh well, what a waste." he picked cup his stuff and drank the tea pretty quickly, "This cool tea gives me an idea.... how about making some kind of... cold tea... I could call it... Ice Tea..."

He walked towards the hole,

"Nah, I don't think it would ever catch on..."

Caramel was crawling down the tunnels, which was very hard since it was so small. She could barely move her head although when she did, she saw Lordy and Aqua had followed after her. Good, that's two, now the rest. Caramel thought to herself before turning around again, worming herself through the tunnels. This is still worth it all, they will see. Atlantis will be the best adventure they ever had

Rave followed soon after, being behind Aqua. He was used to tight spaces as he explored many ruins and temples often. He had every confidence that he himself and everpony else would get out safe and sound. He kept on crawling with that thought in his head. "We'll make it. It's going to be fine" he thought to himself.

"What do you mean... There is always time for tea. It is the light in the dark... it is th.... you know what? Nevermind... I just have some fixed tea hours."

 

 

The crawling was very hard for him, especially due to the bag he was carrying. It kept scratching on the walls making it hard for him to move forward, his musket also got stuck sometimes and had to pull it out. This was no place for an equipped pony to be in, for sure. 

"This is going to ruin my coat..." he mumbled,"Bag will probably be scratched up too."

Tyra entered the tunnel after Rave, her smaller frame making it easier for her to navigate than the others. She had to bunch herself up a bit, but she was not too cramped.

 

"I had nearly punched through those rocks," she commented, a bit grumpy in her tone, "but this will also work."

As the ponies before her were climbing through the tunnel, she levitates her saddlebag off of her back and sent it through the small tunnel shouting to Caramel "Hold on to this for me would you!?"

As Caramel got further, the tunnel got wider, making it easier to move around yet still to small to turn around fully. Meaning there was no turning back now. Aqua's thoughts wouldn't stop swimming around in her head. She kept herself low to the ground as she crawled behind Lordy, who was behind Caramel. She resisted the urge to sing a bit. She cleared her throat to stifle the start of her humming. She kept herself quiet and then thought of memories from her home. She remembered how she had explored secret catacombs beneath her old school.

"Why does everyone let me carry two bags!" Caramel shouted back to Scarlett, not sure if she was able to hear her since she was already so far into the tunnel. As Caramel got further, the tunnel got wider, making it easier to move around yet still to small to turn around fully. Meaning there was no turning back now. The heat around was slowly cooling down as Caramel felt a small breeze coming the place she was headed.

 

She shouted back "Oh if it's that much trouble, throw it in the air! Let the damn breeze carry it" (Being serious here)

 

After Wade had gone through after the other ponies Scarlett had crawled through herself. She wasn't small, but she wasn't large either. She got through it with relative ease, and thankfully her bag was already through.

'Good. It looks like everyone can fit. And I can see the end now. Another small cracking out. A little larger than when we came in, but not by much. That leaves us... on top of the large drop we made.'

 

"I've had a bit of a look ahead. Once we leave this section the way to the exit is clear of rubble. I think at least. Not much further now."

The tunnel seemed to be getting wider and it also seemed to get a bit higher. Caramel could see light coming from her way, that must mean they were almost there. Caramel started to walk a bit faster, she had missed the natural light of the sun. She could feel the breeze from outside as she got closer to the light source. She started running but tripped, finally outside the cave, she fell face down in the snow.

"Finally, out in the open." Lordy mumbled as he got out of the tunnel.

Lordy offered a hoof to help Caramel get up.

 He looked at his uniform and bag, they were dirty, but luckily not ripped,

"Absolutely ruined..." He sat down on a rock and took out a brush, trying to clean off all the dirt.

Tyra hopped out the other side of the tunnel, shaking herself off and feeling the chilly breeze hit her.

"Aaah, that is better!" She chirped, feeling much better upon feeling the cold at her coat and the snow at her hooves.

 

She saw that Caramel had tripped and fallen into the snow. Grinning, she made a mad dash after her, and hopped where Caramel had tripped, deliberately splatting face-first into the snow."

"This is fun!" She squeaked, muffled slightly by the snow.

"Thanks mate." Caramel said, grabbing Lordy's hoof. She stood up, whipping her of the snow on her face. She gave a chuckle as Tyra dove into the snow. "I see ye missed the snow as well." She said before turning towards the exit to see if the rest had found their way out yet.

Scarlett saw the light at the end of the tunnel and thought to herself that it was rather ironic considering that they could have died in there. She shouted to Caramel "I'll be out after these slowpokes make it out. One question though, is there snow out there?"
