Lightwing 12,978 July 19, 2015 Share July 19, 2015 0/10 not even one of my Top 25 OTPs Anyways, let's see what we got here. I am again on a critic mood, and I want to see how do I fare... Bodies: good job with the shapes, Jonas's body seems to meet canonical aspect properly, and so does Puck. I have a little complain with legs being too long, but that's more of a problem of mine. There is not too much else to say than that, to be honest. Poses: according to you, this is your first time drawing a couple pose of two ponies. From my perspective, you did a fine job at it, without any mistake standing out. Manes: this is something that got my eye. As soon as I saw the drawing, the way and style used to represent the manes was what standed out first. I'm taking the guess about it being a personal style, am I right? I cannot properly describe it. It's a game of lights and shadows used on a different way than the normal, but I truly love it, I truly do. Background: nothing can be said here, as there is no background. A little background would have made this drawing even better, but one cannot get everything, and the drawing is still of good quality overall, so there is no problem here. Overall: putting it simple, this piece stands out for its simplicity, being this a good example of simplicity done well. The problem caused by the lack of a background is nullified by the good quality of the drawing as a whole and a curious mane style that gives life to the drawn characters. If I had to rate it, I would give it four stars out of five. There are a few flaws that could be improved, but this piece is a prime example of simplicity being executed correctly. ★★★★☆ -Really good.
