Other media franchises where you actually give a crap about the characters.

My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic is one of the few franchises where I actually care about the characters. They make the show for me.

Another media franchise where I can say I adore the characters are BioWare games in general. Other than that... yeah, it's just MLP and BioWare games where the characters make the franchise work for me...

You guys?

Naruto Shippuden. I cried during the Pain Arc in the Shippuden season. Give us a break! Can you please NOT kill all our favorite characters?? Even the villains, it's sad to see them go.

Lego with Bionicles, at least in their first few years. Hence my name matau.

I didn't know what to put in this until I read this. Bionicle for sure. It had some awesome characters. I felt a personal connection to the personality of Nuju.

Finally committed my first name change.

Although it wasn't a great game, I really felt for Prometheus in the game The Conduit.

The fact that most of the enemies you fought in the game were mindless clones of this intelligent alien guy really got to me for some reason.

When I was younger, I was really into all the characters from the Fire Emblem gba games, Rurouni Kenshin, and a lesser known japanese fighting game for the PS1 called Evil Zone.

Recently though, it's really only been MLP.

Well all of the characters I would have said have been taken. Damn it. A few additions though would be Niko Bellic and the original CoD squads (CoD1-4). I still miss Griggs and his awesome rap music. And Gaz. All of 'em.

Avatar: The Last Airbender and the Dark Tower Series. Kingdom Hearts, too.

There's more, but I'm not going to sit here and go through everything that ever gave me feels. We'll be here for years.

Mad Men. Favorite character is probably Peggy Olson, but they have a good variety of layered, interesting characters. Great Pete Campbell episode last week. Roger Sterling is great. Joan Harris. Draper, of course. Sally Draper as well, episode 4 of this season (Mystery Date) was extraordinary and she played a key role in that one.

Fantastic show all around.

According to some survey somewhere, most like Rainbow Dash. Was not expecting that result but I suppose it makes sense.
