I didn't start watching the show until February 2014, so I don't want it to end 3 years after I started watching it, but I also don't want the show to go bad. I don't think it would all of a sudden go bad, it'd have to be a gradual thing, so I'm confident it won't become really bad. Despite the dispute on the movie being the end, I say it depends on how to movie does. If the movie is sucessful and the show is still bankable, I see it lasting longer. If the movie is a box office bomb and they can't profit off the show anymore, they'll probably pull the plug. I'm hoping the show will last until 2019 or maybe 2020. cider float 2,539 September 23, 2015 Share September 23, 2015 The only thing that died was the spark. It will continue spitting out episodes but I'm not expecting it to be sublime. Maybe I just became desensitized to the same old same kind of theme it runs on but I just can't see it the same way as I used to. Megas 28,529 September 23, 2015 Share September 23, 2015 (edited) Besides the fact that Hasbro wants G4 to last a few more years, the brony fandom is still active, the show's still doing well, comics are doing fine, EQG is doing very well, and there's still the theatrical film and another supposed EQG movie(or even a series) Season 6 maybe the last season, and most people are saying they want it to be the last so the show doesn't fall into a rot. I personally think that the show could last as long as Spongebob and other cartoons that seem to go on forever. Spongebob doesn't even have a large fanbase, and that show went on for a very long time, while the bronies are everywhere and might keep FiM going forever.
