Bowser and Kammy's entire arc in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door.

 

While it's extremely funny as buck, they still accomplish absolutely nothing, are reduced to Giant Space Fleas From Nowhere in the final Chapter, and are never seen or even mentioned again after that (A little epilogue scene in Bowser's Castle would've been nice, Nintendo.).

Destiny's. I still don't even know what the story even is. I guess The Taken King is supposed to alleviate that, but I really don't feel like paying an additional $40 just to finally have an okay story at best. The original game's story consisted entirely of 'There are bad things, shoot them'. Yay.

I liked the story of Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days and the character Xion, but the plot literally wrote itself out of existence in the end. Hate to use the word 'pointless' as I like the story and character, but I have to be fair...

 

Nevermind... I forgot about how much background it added behind Roxas and Axel's friendship, which certainly, IMO, added a lot. In KHII, Axel's behavior came off as rather random, but if you add in the background from 358/2 Days, it makes a lot of sense, and becomes relateable.

Ocelot is the son of The Sorrow and The Boss, thus Ocelot having a link to the deceased is possibl

 

 

But for some reason they decided it was better just have him trick himself into thinking he is Liquid which is still beyond stupid. Not enough to ruin the story(at least for me) but still really stupid

On the one hand, the hypnosis thing was definitely dumb.

 

On the other, at least Ocelot went out as a sympathetic villain who helped finally improve the world for a change.

Having only seen the trailers, I'm pretty sure Rio 2 completely invalidates the entire point of Rio. The plot of the first film is that the two blue birds are apparently the last of their kind, so inevitably they end up together. The second film completely throws that out the window, revealing an entire colony, which included the girl's entire family and ex-boyfriend, who is better than the main character in every way, despite the fact that she never, ever mentioned them at any point.
