I'm not really a fan of the Star Trek series though. It's become too much of a base for all Sci-Fi. It all seems a little cheesy to me.

 

But don't worry. Ships will happen later in the rp a little bit, and if we do Atlantis there are plenty of ships we can mess with sometimes.

Well Amber took a lot of inspiration from it I mean, training at Corbulo Academy, the uniform...all part in parcel

Giving Amber an achilles heel definitely helped with making her character imo. The classic daddy issues

 

Don't know if Sapphire has one, but it usually helps to put it into her character and everything she does

she has flaws she tends to misread situations, like what she did before but she needs more depth I created her as a Prop for Emerald to start with actually. Well when the mood hits me...

But her weakness. Her weakness is that even though she is extremely powerful, she will never use her magic to harm another pony.

This means that even with all her magic, and all her power, she will only ever use her magic for defensive purposes. She keeps her mind and emotions in check with magic, but also programmed her mind to not allow her to use magic offensively.

No point. If a dam is overflowing, you build the dam higher. But there comes a point where you cant build a bigger dam, so you have to let more water out instead.
