request Voice Actors needed for an upcoming Fic Reading (Audio Drama)

Hello,

 

I'm not sure if this is the best place for me to put up a topic on this forum, but I am in desperate need of help for an upcoming audio book of a story I found on FIMFiction.

 

On October 29, 2015, I posted a topic on one of the forums here on this site, asking for voice actors for help. I've set the deadline to November 27, 2015, but unfortunately, I haven't gotten one single response from anyone willing to voice act in my audio project. Frankly, I think that it's my fault for setting the deadline too early. Which is why I've reschedule the deadline and am writing this topic in hopes that I maybe able to find a couple of people to help me out with the voice acting problem.

 

Around September of 2014, I had already fallen in love with this story on FIMFiction known as: The Youth in the Garden. Since then, I've been planning on doing an audio book of this amazing story for quite some time now. I have gotten just about everything I need to start this audio drama: background music, sound effects, even an artist to help me illustrate some of the scenes in the reading. But the one thing I'm missing are the voice actors, and this is the most important key ingredient to making this reading possible. Without the help of voice actors, this project is never going to be up on its feet. So, to anyone who is interested in voice acting or has experience in the field of voice acting, this is your chance to partake in something I've been planning to do all this time.

Now, I understand why you wouldn't help me out since I am no famous person, and frankly, I don't expect anyone to help me out or even publish this topic on this forum, but I really, REALLY, need your help in getting this audio project finally started. However, if you can't help me out, I won't hold it against you. If you can't help out with voice acting, but you know someone who is interested in voice acting, feel free to share this topic with them.

 

The deadline for auditions were originally planned on November 27, 2015, but because I have not been getting anyone to help me with auditions, the deadline has been moved to December 31, 2015. You can find the information in the video and the Google doc.

 

I don't have anything else to say, other than that I really hope that you can help me out of this tight spot. Sure, why not. I'll be happy to help. The voice in my profile is pretty much my normal voice, but i can twist it in different ways if ye want to.

There will be some minor swearing, but a majority of the character's lines shouldn't have a lot of swearing. If you want to audition for one of the soldiers, my suggestion is to find which one of the soldiers don't swear, see which character you're comfortable in voicing. I wouldn't suggest using any substitutes if you're voicing a character that may curse.

Of course! Anyone can audition for the pony characters or soldiers as well, which ever they think best fits their voice. Do you know someone who might be interested in voicing one of the ponies or soldiers? Feel free to let them know about this project.

Of course! Your best bet for auditioning would have to be one of the soldiers. But if you want to try out auditioning for one of the ponies, or Spike, go right ahead!
