technical issue My picture is sideways.

Help! I want to post a picture of myself, but when i preview it, my picture is always on its side! Why does it do this?

, from which platform(PC, Mobile, Tablet...) are you uploading it? Also, which browser did you used in the process?

This same thing happens to me when I upload photos taken from my tablet.
What I do, is upload my photo(s) to imgur.com first, save it, and then attach it to my posts on here.

It should fix the problem.

I've noticed something odd previously, where pictures from a phone/tablet present weird when posted somewhere else. As if the phone/tablet is automatically rotating the image while it is on the phone/tablet, but it doesn't carry through to any place else.

This happens because information on layout orientation is embedded in the image on phones. Some sites actually remove this data and some do not. IPB (or forum software) does not. There are several workarounds to this as indicated above. I ran into this when posting the MCM auction pics to my dropbox so this is not an MLPF issue.

Easy solution, if you uploaded this from your phone and then you realized this happened go to paint or anything like paint, then rotate the picture by 90 degrees if you are STILL having these issues another solution is to upload your picture to www.imgur.com

and use the BBCode link.

I fixed my problem now. I posted the picture onto the thread from my computer instead. Thanks!
