She glanced down at her hooves, and bit her lip in thought. "I wanna say you're full of dung, but... the letter... only mom could..."

Solar bit her lip, unable to disagree that Scarlett was making sense. She did build the suit, and it's one of a kind, so how else would she have gotten it?

It was still a bit hard to believe, but the proof was all there. She knew things only her mother would know, so that confirmed it.

 

She took a step toward her, with a longing look in her eyes like she badly wanted a hug.

I lost a couple of years from my memory a while back but I managed to figure out most of what happened, apparently I never left myself any trace of you. I guess I should have looked more into my suit."

She opened her eyes begrudgingly. Her head was racing and her whole body was tingly and aching but she had to make the effort to get moving again. With every joint creaking, she steadily rose from her slumber and came to rest with her head against the wall with her stare focused on Scarlett and Solar.
