Sapphire's concentration was now nearly broken by her, the most favorite of ponies on the ship who else but Solar. She looked up to her to have some rubbish about morphine and such then her hooves filled with morphine supplies. Not like im preforming surgery or anything Solar? She just managed to keep her spell concentrated. "Why would I tell her or give her any?" I mean really? And I will not bite your head off for this because I like Amber. She puts the supplies down. "I'll see to this later I need to keep my focus." resuming on Flame. @The Real 1990,

 

"It's ok, I doubt I'll need help after this, ribs are feeling much, MUCH better now. Thank you Sapphire." 

Flame trotted over Bass and gave her a giant hug, although he was careful not to suffocate the Crystal pony this time.

Tired of this job, tired of this ship, tired of my stupid addiction.." She rambled, although most of it came out muffled due to her face being firmly shoved into the quilt.

She got up and started for her room.

He turned to Sapphire. "This is what happened to Mir, Cyril's VI. Earlier, I called you two to the gate room because I was going to give you two..." He reached into his pack, and took out a P90, a P250, and two extra clips for each. "...these. My original plan was to go and explore, see if we find anything that could answer our questions concerning that flash of light, and that strange voice. That, of course, never happened, due to Scarlett's sister gating here." He set the P90 and the clips on the nightstand, and handed the pistol to Sapphire. "Keep this with you at all times. Given the randomness of all these events, nothing is guaranteed. Keep your eyes peeled, 'kay? Now, you should get some rest." He hugged Sapphire.

He entered his room, and unslung his rifle and ammo, placing it inside his weapons cache. He took off his glasses and unholstered his pistol, placing them on the nightstand. Taking off his pack, he took out his tablet, and reviewed MIRVI's surveillance video once again. What in Tartarus is that? Hmm, guess we'll find out soon enough.

Seeing that no one responded to his radio call, Lightning switched his radio to TEAMCOM 7. He then put his glasses back on.

 

“Mission Log. Lieutenant Lightning Spark. Head of Cyber-security, Icarus Base. Mission Clock, T plus 36 hours, 24 minutes. Encrypt Spark 864-7. It's been almost 2 days since we dialed the Icarus Stargate, and ended up here, on the starship Destiny. It's been a… harrowing experience, to say the least. The attack on the base during the dialing was...unexpected. But, as luck, or the Princesses' favor, would have it, we dialed to this Ancient ship. Then...the problems began. The air filtration system was busted. If the ship hadn't dialed a desert planet with sodium calcite on the surface, we would have died. Then, the politician appeared. Yes, the politician. A certain Cyril started riling up all the other ponies, taking leadership on himself. Of course, that didn't last long. I put an end to the matter, and he eventually relented, I think. Then, the power reached critical levels, and it still is. As if we didn't have enough problems, we nearly collided with a star. The Destiny's shields held, thankfully. I'm honestly worried and scared. I fear for the future. I fear that more problems will arise, just to aggravate us all. *sigh* Sometimes, I wish I had remained a Spartan, going on special ops with Fireteam Sapphire. But...the past is the past. I can only look to the future. May the Princesses look favorably upon us. End log.”

 

Lightning sat for a moment, thinking over everything. “Tuesday, set alarm to 5 hours from now. And, if anyone calls me on TEAMCOM 7, please wake me ASAP.” “Yes, sir.” Lightning took off his glasses, set them on the nightstand again, and went to sleep.
