Hello! I just joined the site and was hoping to find other Brony folk to chat with! Sadly there are not many pony-minded people in Wyoming... I am mostly just looking for other Pony folk to freak out about MLP with, but I am also going to BronyCon again in 2016 so if you're more into meeting up and having a chat or drink or two I'm also down for that!

Shadow Dash! ( love the name by the way!!!) BronyCon 2015 was the best time of my life!!! It was my first pony con and I made an EPIC!!! Soaring costume (and actually won second place in the contest! ) as well as met some amazing people in a place I've never been! I am more than glad to tell you you (and anyone else) about it I'm PMs (unless everyone wants me to talk about it public here?) but yes. BronyCon is amazing! And I would love to pm with anyone willing to chat so don't feel shy to hit me up!!! (I love to talk but am not the greatest at starting conversations ????)

i was going to try to go nexed year depending on how expensive it would be to get there + lots of spending money.

I went with a nerd friend of mine (not a Brony at the time but I'm working on it) and my costume was rather.... Intense xD I can probably figure out how to post a picture or two but it was a "Gala Dress Uniform" if you will of Soarin... And the wings I made from scratch (yes I glued over 2 pounds of died goose feathers to a home made frame over 3 weeks xD ) and I designed a battery operated motor to open and close the wings with a hidden button. I can't do it justice in text. But if you happen to be at BronyCon 2016 I'll have it there again!!! And I don't mean to brag or sound boastful, but I put over 7 months of work into this (as well as other insane resources) so im a bit proud. Please don't find me as rubbing it in

 

As far as the Con. It was the single most amazing time of my life!!!

Lol heavy is an understatement xD the wings and works (not including any covering clothing) was nearly 40 pounds. After 12 hours of wearing it.... It got painful xD I will try to post a couple pics
