I'd really like to know what you did with this song. Did you use a karaoke version of the song and have someone else sing over it? The background is very similar to the original. If that is the case, I really don't have much to say but that you should correct the vocals, because the singer isn't really hitting all the notes. I use Newtone with FL Studio (stock plugin) and it is a charm.

Not bad. The singer just needs a little bit of pitch correction. The background is a little soft for the vocals and so it doesn't blend especially well. Nice use of reverb/delay though.
