What if Twilight Sparkle has to confront her decedent from the future?

I'm just wondering at the possibility that a unicorn/alicorn from her future lineage comes to the past to confront Twilight Sparkle.

I actually was hoping that this was the case with Starlight, maybe she could have been someone in her family form the future and she came back in time for whatever reason, but alas, this was not the case. Would have been faaar more interesting I think. At this point, I want the show to distance itself away from time travel plots. I feel like those are far more trouble than they are worth.

Agreed, sometimes it's best not to mess with time just focus on the present.

It would be interesting if Twilight's descendent were in some way "inspired" by Starlight Glimmer's first attempts at an equal Equestria. This would compel the character to travel back in time and attempt to remove Twilight from her throne. The character would be exceptionally powerful because of her relation to Twilight, and there could be "hints" of her having the "talents" of Flash Sentry as well. Twilight and Starlight Glimmer would have to combine their power because of this.

I'm all out seeing at least one descendant of Twi, though, those episodes tend to be either badly implemented, received, or both, but it would be interesting nonetheless
