Is Their A Film Industry In Equastria

Considering there is a pony version of Los Angles called Los Pegasus. Dose that mean Equastria has a film industry, in a pony version of Hollywood?

Since we have not directly seen any kind of film industry in Equestria, my theory is that instead of a film industry, it is more of a play industry. So live shows and the like. It seems many ponies have a knack for doing this and it also seems like a tradition in a whole of ways, like for Hearth's Warming Eve, so perhaps, this is what Los Pegasus focuses on.

But yes, agreeing with what Kyoshi said- we've seen no evidence of movies in MLP so we can't think there are any, canonically, at this point.  His idea that plays are the alternative is a natural and good one.

Yes, we have seen in the episode Hurricane Fluttershy that they do in fact have movies in Equestria, granted on old school projectors instead of DVD/Blueray players or even VHS tapes but still movies.

 

 

As we have also seen though plays seem to also be popular so I would imagine their movie technology is around the time of the late 20's to mid 30's or possibly early 40's.
