I would love to live in Germany or in Finland, most countries of europe really. They are heaven for me. One of the reasons I want to learn german.

cool, I kinda want to move to Netherlands, which is why I'm attempting to learn the language (well one of the reasons)

I'd love to move to Canada. AFAIK it's as developed as US, it has similar climate to where I live and it seems like a friendly country overall. I used to want to live in US but in sight of last few years it seems like US is not my childhood dream county anymore

I like living in California, and I’ve already lived in almost every other part of the country, so the only place in the U.S. I’d like to try out would be Hawaii. I only visited once and loved it, so I think a longer exposure to island life might be worth looking into. As far as living abroad, I could see myself in Tokyo, Bora Bora or Tuscany. At least I wouldn’t mind a prolonged visit just to see how I’d like it as a permanent resident.

  • 4 years later...

I'd still like one of those fancy apartments I was eyeing up in DE. Once I get things sorted out with my health I'll likely start figuring out how to make that happen. Since I'd be moving states.

I'd love to live somewhere in the Northeastern US. Norway, Finland, and Sweden also look like beautiful places to live, but I think that might be too much of a culture shock for me, personally. I wouldn't want to live that far away from home.

In the Northeastern US I'd be out of the Bible Belt. I'd get four seasons (important for me!) and... Um... the stereotype goes that people in the South are friendly, and not so much in the North. So that would mean that people in the North are stereotypically cold and mind their own business - I'd fit in just perfectly!

I did it! I escaped the dreadful Bible Belt and now live in New England. :party-pone:

Alas, the US really went down the toilet since back then and now it's scary even living in one of the best states. :worry: It's a real shame what has become of the country because I still love New England. I wish it could just be its own thing at this point and leave the US to its depravity and stupidity.

Anyway, funny how in the original post I didn't mention Canada at all. I'm really wondering why. Now, unless the US makes some miraculous turn to good instead of evil (or New England somehow becomes independent), I'd like to live in Canada, or one of the Scandinavian nations. Not that I see moving to those places as possible at all, so...

I'm hoping at some point soon to relocate from Geelong to Melbourne, Australia, as that's where I'm most happy.

I've often thought about moving back to Connecticut, but I lack the funds and employment to do so.

I want to live in the same state and city, I never planned to move away from those two things. I just want to move out on my own, but still close to my family.

I'm fine with Australia and Melbourne. There's too much for me here to even think of leaving. I've also been here my whole life, so I don't know how I'd fare somewhere else. :ButtercupLaugh:

At first I rejected the zero, but that was because I simply didn't understand it. Now I do.

Same, but with Ohio and Toledo.

I could see myself maybe moving to one of the C cities or Detriot, but they're all way more expensive than Toledo. And every other smaller city around the region is kind of just worse than Toledo to live in, shockingly.
