The outrageous costumes, obviously. Rainbow Dash - Hajime no Ippo. Easily the best sports anime I know, and I think she'd enjoy it too. Pinkie Pie - Excel Saga. It matches her insanity perfectly, I think. Fluttershy - K-ON. Music and cuteness seems a good combo for her. Applejack - Probably Hajime no Ippo as well, considering she too likes sports and a major part of the series is working hard and perseverance, which would appeal to her. The reason behind this being, that Gundam series often point out the flaws in mankind. Often times a young man is sent to die in a war controlled by the old men who wage it. The world isn't black and white, and good and evil are just matters of perspective. It teaches that nothing we do, will do, or even can do will change our nature. We could literally become machines, and would still find a way to override the programming to kill one another. Even with the help of robots, mankind would spread into space, and with them war would spread into space like a plague. We can make the most sophisticated technology in our dreams, and still use it to kill our fellow man. Giving them this insight, I hope to give them the ability to escape chain of fate, so that pony kind need not go the way of man, carving a bloody swath through the entirety of their history.
