Well... It looks more like a suit than armor. Maybe make it stand out some more, add some plates here and there. But other than that, good job!

In my opinion, this drawing is quite impressive in its appearance. I love the shading you have on the pony, especially visible on the region around the mouth and on the legs, and the colors are really vibrant, especially from the armor. Holly Dash looks pretty adorable the way you drew here and I think the background looks pretty nice. I think you did a terrific job on this and I can't wait to see more.

So it is. XD But I'm just pointing out that it looks more like a superhero costume than a suit of armor. That might be just me though.
