Anyone whom has been paying even a little attention to what has been going on with youtube recently knows that channels that aren't big companies or vevos are being assaulted with dmca's and copyright claims left and right, more agressively than ever since the start of this year. Today I'm bringing info that team four star, the brilliant people behind Dragon Ball Z Abridged, Hellsing Abridged, Machinabriged, and have grown to become professional voice actors in games like Dragon Ball Xenoverse and Street Fighter V thanks to their channel and consistent quality, have been suddenly and without warning been taken down by youtube. A channel with over 2 Million subscribers, gone, without any notice what so ever https://www.youtube.com/user/TeamFourStar Takahata has commented on Brony animations too, and I believe he happens to be a Brony if I'm not mistaken, and people like Nowacking work with them to make the stellar videos that they do. We need to make noise about this, we need to start dealing with this, or Youtube is going to become just another outlet for television shows and nothing more. YouTube has a bias towards certain channels, that is clear as day and this right here shows that. C&Ding Youtubers and people for no reason other than assumed "copyright violations", even though a lot of it's under fair use, and making tons of money off of videos to fuel their so called, "evil empire". It isn't YouTube anymore, it's C&DTube. But, I'll say this: Something needs to be done. I don't care when, how, or what, but someone or something needs to fix Youtube's corrupted copyright system. These random, unfair, and often, without warning, copyright strikes need to be stopped, or else Youtube may as well become C&DTube, like Rainbow Dashe has said. I'm tired of being wrapped up in this in general, and instead of leaving like it doesn't affect me (because it does affect everyone in so many ways), I want to do something real about it, and the only real thing to help is to move sites. My advice is to stop trying to reason with YouTube. Just stop. All the YouTubers, just stop. I know you'll lose that sweet sweet money that you get, but can you sacrifice a month or so of that to work together to get a new site that pays out relatively the same and has no copyright bullshit? That won't give into the corrupt ramblings and under-the-table dealings of major companies seeking to monopolise the market? Can we not do this? Screw YouTube. I'm not supporting any action against them except leaving. Because they won't support anything from us except bending over.
