Welp, it was bound to happen.

 

One of the greatest players of all-time, Peyton Manning, will retire from the NFL tomorrow.

 

He had a great career, holding nearly every record in the NFL, and nabbing two SB rings.  A class act, a great player on and off the field, and one who doesn't give up on anybody.

 

Thank you, Peyton, for all that you have done to both the Indianapolis Colts and the Denver Broncos.

Although I don't really like him… (ruining both my Bears' SB run, and my Jags' road to the playoffs) I must say that I really respect him. I think that he's the only one that can out-preform Brady, Rodgers, or R. Wilson. Sad to see him go, but he did it on a good note. :3

He's my all time favorite football player. He played a great last game in Super Bowl 50, and I can see him getting into the Hall of Fame first shot!

I'm a Giant fan and I have tons of respect for Eli's big brother. He's a phenomenal player who just knows how to win and I wish him the best in his retirement.

Another great player retires... Well at least Seahawks can handle the Broncos better now.

Definitely a strange thing to see. Living in Indiana, I always saw him as a sort of poster-guy for the state within the Colts and knowing that he is now out of the league entirely, just a strange thought. He has earned it though, considering all of the records he broke. Nobody is gonna allow him into a record store anytime soon.

It's going to be different not seeing him on the field as his brother is the only one in the family still playing. He will be missed, but it will be a sad day when the starting QB for my team retires which is not too far away.
