So, in the episode "Slice of Life", Lyra and Sweetie Drops (A.K.A. Bon Bon) were getting quite friendly and close in this little bit of their scene...I know it could have been a special "friends" moment, but the music in the background, tender feelings, and just the caress in general makes me think that if it weren't for possible angry parents writing in about their children seeing a same-sex coupling in the show, the dialogue could have been quite different, as well as the scene itself. So, what do you think? Do you think they would have kissed if it weren't for the previously mentioned parents? Do you think there would be more couples like this? Keep in mind that I'm not saying that parents would never get mad about anything, but if they let same-sex couples slide without getting angry, do you think we'd see more "shipping" in the show? Another thing to keep in mind is that this is not the debate pit! We're not discussing whether you're for or against same-sex couples, we're discussing characters and what would happen.
