If you don't want to "buy" Photoshop, I can suggest Gimp to you. ^^

Mh well even if you think your stuff is bad, showing it to people can actually help you a lot. You can only improve by getting feedback. People can tell you what they like and what they dislike about your work.

 

Thats at least how I improved.
