Keeping the peace ain't easy. It's got it's share of hard times, stressful problems, and a whole lot of complaints from the public... and sometimes from your fellow soldiers.

But, through all of that, one may also find friendship, love, and strong bonds forged in the line of duty. And, in this case, hilarity. Lots of hilarity.

You are a pony serving under the banner of the 106th Regiment, an otherwise "unique" (and by unique I mean "goofy") unit of Royal Guards that ultimately mean well, who are charged with protecting the streets of Canterlot, Ponyville, and various parts of the Royal Castle. With your fellow Royal Guards, experience the joy, suffering, high school-like romance, and hilarious hijinks that come with being a part of the Regiment.

Suit up, soldier. Welcome to the 106th.

This is going to be a sort of free RP, which means new people can come and join as new recruits of the 106th (Post on the OOC or PM me first if you wish to join)! Also, it's my intent to keep this RP fresh and exciting for as long as I can, so expect a bunch of new stuff and events when I get the chance to write them up.

Btw, both male and female characters are allowed for this!

Damien Bolt would love a chance to serve Equestria again, he already has plenty of combat experience from the war against King Sombra. So count me in! Just one question, how does one reach the higher ranks? Because if possible, could Damien be promoted due to participation in a previous war?

To answer your question, you can start out as a captain or a sergeant if you want to. If you start out as a regular soldier, you'll have chances to be promoted. This is still a work in progress, so I'm still trying to figure out how this will work.

 

As for your submission, I can't really accept an alicorn for a royal guard, since alicorns are regarded as, well, royalty. So you'll have to pick between making him a unicorn or a pegasus.
