Okay, so I'm sure this is an overused topic on the internet but it's still incredibly fun so why not go with it? Just share a gaming glitch that you found interesting, fun, etc. It would also be great if you could share the reason why you found this glitch worthy of mention.

Here are a couple of mine:

  • The mew glitch from gen 1 Pokemon games-  I love this glitch mainly because of the level 100 Nidoking you can get before the 1st gym. And it grants access to all pokemon without having to trade or cheat.
  • Falling through the floor- Playing a warrior on a WoW private server and using charge resulted in me falling through the floor and into a cave once. I survived with barely any HP and got the "Going Down?!" achievement. When this glitch happens randomly in games and doesn't cause any major damage, it can be a great laugh.
  • Water goggles- A decent glitch for when swimming. In games such as Morrowind and Oblivion, you can keep your head halfway above and halfway below the water's surface, resulting in everything underwater being visible the same way as air. Makes it much easier to spot details.

The 'Minus Zone' from the first Super Mario Bros is among my favorites.

I think the most impactful glitch belongs to WoW Corrupted Blood incident. Hands down this one had more real world impact as the data helped academia model things from terrorist attacks, to the spread of infectious diseases.

Fallout 3 glitches in general. Here's the lowdown of what I've seen in Fallout 3:

Enemies spontaneously flying into the air and then dying when they fall--which is funny when you shoot them just before they get launched because you get experience from literally doing nothing

Enemy corpses flying around and following you--which looks hilarious but makes it difficult to loot them.

The glitched rooftop in The Pitt DLC in the Steelyard which, ironically, is caused by the Point Lookout DLC.

Trying to discover every location after beating the Broken Steel expansion storyline and suddenly, things started happening as in I saw Enclave turrets randomly spawning in the darndest places like in the Deathclaw Sanctuary and in the middle of the highway.

Times when I'm just walking and suddenly I find myself sinking for no reason. I don't die at any point, I just start sinking as I travelled. Looking up while walking didn't help and fast travel didn't work because I was considered as "falling" even though I was standing still.

And those are just glitches I've experienced from Fallout 3.

I have one particular glitch that I absolutely love and it may very well be my favorite ever.

In The Elder Scrolls IV Oblivion, go into a building that has NPC's in it. Then, kill one of the NPC's. Then drag their body into an open doorway and shut the door on their body. Madness then ensues! :3 I could entertain myself for hours with all the wackiness that can cause. XD Their bodies can contort hardcore, stretch out like taffy and other things. If you have the game, I recommend trying that sometime.

Satchel glitch in Halflife 1 multiplayer.

You can throw satchel charges on the ground and blow them up when you want like a C4. Throwing one on top of the other will cause it to stack on top. Players can walk through their own satchels but for some reason not others. This has caused people to block up door ways in maps with satchels so they can get in and out but no one else can. Its made even worse as people block up spawn rooms and instant kill you. Its a cheap trolley trick but some time great to do with friends for a laugh.

GTA: San Andreas is full of glitches. I've seen delayed death so many times, where an NPC with 0 health would just casually take a couple steps before falling to the ground.
On the other hand, you can make NPCs immortal if you walk them into the Pay 'n' Spray places and paint your car while they're inside.

Suikoden 2 - PS2

There is an place near the beginning of the game where you can see a later area, but can't access it...

... unless you simply push on the locked gate.  It slides away like a pushable object, and you get in.

Of course, the area has level 60 critters when you get there... and you're around level 10 - 12.  If ONE of your six-person team can survive and win a single battle, however: Instant 20 levels on the spot!  Take about an hour or two doing this for all your currently gathered teammates, and you can move on to the next section WAY ahead of the curve.

Beating bosses in one hit in an RPG like Suikoden 2 feels AWESOME, by the way.

Welp, my fave has to be the Heavy Rain ''Shaun'' glitch. Can cause some hilarious results through the part where it's supposed to be all feels.

I also liked Missingno. and the Swingset glitch from that one GTA game I can't remember about.

「A nightingale in a golden cage, thats me locked inside reality's maze.」

「Come someone make my heavy heart light, come undone bring me back to life~!」

In Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, it's possible to do a number manipulation on the boss door in the first dungeon that results in you entering the final level of the game, fighting Ganon, as a child.
