As Mr. Lappy stopd his lesson and explained why he had picked that storry, Walleria didn't believe her ears! Not even did she know almost anything about ponies and now? Now she was given history lessons and then practicaly told that they where made up as a test to se who was gullable to believe anything! The same second as Mr Lappy had exited she let out an irritated snort and crossed her arms. 'Alissa better have something fun to do after her school if this keeps up... ' she tought to herself

 

Tough before she could express her feelings futhure the door opened again and Ms. Cherilee entered the omstead- She did not come aloene as she took up the question about the food fight before, tough in her mind she snorted again to her adressing everyone exept her. Or maybe she just needed to get used to not being included as a species and be counted in to this pony call.

Cheerlee blinked at this, she knew summer bead and string shot never got along she hopped this would be the year the two might make a truce she was having enough distractions as it was. "summer bead that's enough" she said her voice dropping a pitch

Cheerlee just kept her eyes on summer bead, the colt began to slink back in his chair.

 

"ok heres a rule for all of you" cheerlee said going towards the board writing in pony and dragon script for wallerias sake.

(on the board in pony and dragon script) NO FIGHTING

 

"I'll work this out later now then" she dropped the chalk and began talking in her normal tone turning towards her students with a smile now.

"what have we all learned today?" she asked

Lupus raised his hoof, wanting to tell Ms. Cheerilie about what he had learned today and also defend String Shot. But then Misty would wind up with the blame, he didn't know what to do. Tell the truth, or not tattle on Misty.

 

'What a dilemma!' The distraught unicorn thought, 'Depending on what I say, either String Shot or Misty takes the blame. What do I do?'

Fudge and Sundae gazed in awe at the thought of a draconequus having been reformed. They had only heard the reign of his terror in their old school but hearing about how he had been brought back from stone made them jump a little in their seats.

 

"I wonder if we're going to get to meet Discord," Fudge told his sister.

After the dragon's lesson ended, the twins gulped at Cheerilee's outburst at the food fight. They hated seeing teachers get angry because it often meant their parents would get angry as well. They hoped she wouldn't call them as witnesses so their mouths remained closed. Cheerilee's sudden cheery demeanor did little to improve them once Scar, Summer Bead and String Shot explained what had happened. Still, Sundae raised her hand.

 

"I learned a lot about Colossus Shatter Hoof," she said. "He seemed like a brave earth pony."

Scar raised his hoof to Cheerlee's question. "I learned that I want to learn more about Equestria's history, if that makes any sense at all, and then there is the rules that are important and of course Colossus Shatter Hoof like Sundae said. That's what I learned."

Stormy was confused, especially about the response given to him from Mr. Lappy before the foundation of Equestria, and yet i remember being told that discord was alive then, as he is said to be centuries old. Stormy supposed that this was before Discord was reigning a world of chaos, something about the dragon's story seemed funny, too good to be made up... and stormy nodded as baseplate questioned Mr lappy. Fault lines? this part intrigued Stormy, and he kept thinking about it as the discussion about the food fight went on.

"I learned food fights are not a good idea" dinky doo said trying to get a laugh or something.

 

Cheerlee smiled glad to listen to see what they learned. LIsten to her students seemed to help calm her, somewhat stressed mind on what to do with the food fight problem. yet listened on towards the others. "so what you all learn about shatter hoof?" she asked

Baseplate sighed, clearly Ms. Cheerilee had been right earlier when she had suggested to Princess Sparkle that he simply be homeschooled. This slow classroom pace was killing him, even if he was learning some interesting things. I should really just bring in something more engaging to do in class.

 

He raised his hoof at Ms. Cheerilee's second question, "I learned that he may or may not have ever really existed and may have just been a legend to either explain natural phenomenon or to teach a moral lesson, though both of those purposes, if they ever existed, were not part of today's lesson. He may then be no more real than say Midnight Star, better known as the boogy-pony who'll steal away bad foals in the night."

 

He lowered his hoof, chastising himself for talking too much and rambling.

Raising her own clawed hand Walleria too told of what she had observed.

"I really don't know a lot about ponies but if my old uncle Torch was clear about one thing then it was that if something sounds to good or unbelievable to be true, it possibly isn't, and Mr Lappy's storie sounded just like that." she snorted loudly and making a small yellow cloud that just as quickly dissapeared. "Like he tryed to se if he could trow us anything and eat it without questioning it's truth."

As she finished she lowered her clawed hand to let somebody else tell their toughts.

@@Illiad Easle, Seeing the way aseplate sighed cheerilee felt bad for the colt, true when they first met baseplate showed a lot of intelligence even to catch up with the princess was something not many ponys could say, she made a note on her pad  

 

"advanced studys for baseplate??" (on her pad unseen by the rest)

 

Looking back up she listend on to the other ponys, hoping to get more lesson idea's.

As she asked she began to push the cart hoffing out a text book titeld "The Magic in Equestria by J.K Stabels"

Scar raised his hoof "Unicorns has unicorn magic" he said showing it by lighting his horn, "pegasus has flying, dragons has fire and probably flying" "Earth ponies has strengh and zebras I don't know" "Is that right?" He had read this from somewhere earlier but wasn't sure about how true it was.

The big purple ears stretched to a high point on the dragons head! Had she heard right? Where they really learning about magic? She almost vibrated in her seat as the book was handed to them. 'Right...' She tought as she slummed down on the desk again, letting her whole body tell that she did not aprove. 'Pony script...' Still she couldn't help but feel a little extra excited as she might be able to learn more about her own magic. Not just how to use her stomach muscles to change her magic breaths like her father and uncle Torch had teached them. But also as Banner had explained it, her magic she used with her claws and that it would be somewhat close to a unicorns magic.

The twins eyes glimmered when Cheerilee told the class that all ponies can have magic, even earth ponies like them. Fudge in particular gasped, wondering what kind of magic he might have. After Cheerilee passed out the textbooks, they heard Scar further explain how all types of magic work. Sundae remembered something else about her pony race and raised her hoof.

 

"Can't earth ponies grow things, too?" she asked. "I've seen all those apple trees on the orchard at the end of town. That Apple family must have a lot of magic."

Baseplate brightened up a bit when he heard talk of magic, it was after all one of the only areas that he saw an everyday application for, given the horn jutting forth from his face.

 

He raised a hoof to answer like the others had, "From what Princess Sparkle's library has taught me, unicorns have standard magic, pegasi have flight magic as well as weather control and natural cloud walking, earth ponies have enhanced constitutions and limited life magics, zebra have natural magics and a limited amount of foresight and spectral magics."

"Its that magic you all have said and herd that's in us all, so maybe shatter hoof isn't that far fetched when we have big mac in our town, right appelbloom?" she said.

 

Appelbloom still not use to being on the spot got a bit nervous "well me and AJ thought it was just genetics that gave him his strength but...oh I don't know maybe gran knows more tho" appelbloom said.

Quill was a little confused by Cheerliee's request most of the ponies in class either didn't have or had just got their marks, Welleria would never even get a mark. She lowered herself in her seat not eager to do anything or be noticed she'd not really learnt what her mark even meant yet, maybe something to do with writing or books?

Scar looked through the book and went to the 'Alchemy' but there was only about potions and potion magic. "Seriously? Potions only?"

He raised his hoof "I could show some alchemy, but I'm not talking about this 'alchemy' that is in this book." "It's something else"

@@The Cerberus, cheerilee look at scar seeing the metel legs and connecting the dots soon after "by all means scar just be carful" she said again unsure how much duct tape she will need today. She had herd of metel legs having magic in them for alchemy and more powerful types of magic.

Walleria almost jumped up from her desk as Cherilee mentioned if anyone knew their own magic talent and if anyone wanted to show them to the class, tough she was bit to late as Scar was quicker in mentioning that he could show them some of his.

 

"I'd like to show my magic too!" She said while almost jumping up and down on at her desk in excitement! "But I'd like to se Scar show us his first!" she calmed down a bit and looked expectingly at Scar with wide eyes! "Also I can't show mine inside."

"after scar my dear and don't worry outside will be a good spot to demonstrate your magic" she said with a smile. She was going to look forward to this year as she decided this will be the main theme for her kids.

Baseplate wondered if he had any talent with magic he could show, besides telekinesis he hadn't learned any spells well enough to cast with others around. He wondered what his mark could be too, what aspect of his abilities would come to define him. Hopefully watching the others would give him some idea.

"Aright then." Scar said ash he took piece of paper with drawn weird circle with lines and smaller circles inside it and a about hoof sized rock. He went in front of the class and put piece of paper onto ground and rock inside the drawn circle.

 

He put his hoofs to both sides of the rock and closed his eyes, and without his horn igniting rock started changing shape and circle glowed with blue light. After Scar was done he put detailed alicorn stone sculpture on the table and went silently back to his seat.
