gaming Should Nintendo delay the NX?

With the more powerful Scorpio coming out holiday 2017, should Nintendo delay the NX to make it more powerful, so it can compete? Delaying it could also help it have more games at launch.

People are already impatient enough with the NX, delaying it anymore would just do more damage. Only reason I can think of that could be justified is if they're gonna implement VR support. I think people will be satisfied if it's at least on par with the PS4

I can't see them doing that. Nintendo never delays a console to compete with their competitors.

They've delayed this thing enough times. From what I have heard, they said they are not trying to directly compete with the Xbox One and the PS4, which is funny because they are going to be competing either way. Further delays would only make the system fade more into obscurity. Nintendo just isn't great at making systems for the long term these days. I'd say just keep the date they have now and go with it. A delay for the NX would most likely mean a delay for Zelda and that is a horrible idea.

If it's gonna help give the NX more time to compete with the other consoles, then I think yes they should. As long as it does come out eventually, it's gonna be fine.
