Destroyed Equestria (Daily Update)

I decided to actually do something productive for the first time in months and begin practicing scenery. So I thought "What better way to practice something like that than making a 'Zelda: Breath of the Wild' inspired post-apocalyptic picture"? I'll be trying my best to keep updating daily until I get the picture completed

 

I hope you like the progress of the drawing and I would much appreciate it if you'd be sure to leave any constructive criticism if you have any complaints or suggestions (Provided if you have any).

 

 

Fillydelphia (ROUGH DAY 1):

 

 

Not much can be said as of now imo, but it should probably give you somewhat the gist of what's suppose to be going on in the picture. I'll be putting up Day 2's picture next (I started yesterday).

Alright, here is Day 2. Now in this one you can see I increased the size of the canvas, I added a lot more detail to the bridge, church, and mountains, and I even added part of the Foal Mountain on there since according to the map, Foal Mountain is nearby the town: https://mlpforums.com/uploads/post_images/img-2451960-1-hd_map_of_equestria__official___by_austiniousi-d59y8wl.jpg (Iprobably messed it all up though >.<).

My First serious scenery on it's second day of drawing. I didn't get much today in this one (I blame artist's block) but as you can see the I've added more detail in the far background mostly in the top left corner (Fun Fact: Sombra's Castle is suppose to be so big that it can be seen from everywhere in Destroyed Equestria because it was formerly Mount Everhoof, the largest mountain in Equestria before the downfall) and a broken tree... And that's about it.

 

DAY 4! STILL infected with the art block, so I decided to move on to the clouds. Today I discovered how much of a pain drawing MLPFIM clouds are, and I also discovered how bad I am at smoothing things out are too.

Day 5 of my first serious scenery pic. AT LAST, A BREAKTHROUGH! I finally figured out what I want to add in the blank space that took up a fraction of the picture, and that of coarse being debris (DUH). I'll be sure to continue tomorrow on the debris and more detail (Didn't get as much time today on this one).

Day 6 of my first serious scenery pic. Yeah I know I skipped day 7 and didn't even post it on day 6, so I guess I failed at my promise. I decided to complete bringing the mountains to the left end of the picture and added yet more detail and depth to the debris. I believe I am coming closer to completing the sketch.

 

Happy first week into development. Welp, it looks like I might be close to finished with the sketch, I decided to detail the terrain more and decorate it with pathways and markings to make it look more like Equestria on the show.

DAY EIGHT! Looks like I might be finally finished with my sketch after like over a week, I can't see what else I could add. Looking at all the detail I have added, I can safely say that I tried my best and hopefully the finished product will be something that I can be proud of. Now that the sketch is complete, I'm not sure if I'll be able to update daily what with the complex coloring as such, so I might possibly change the name of the next update to something like "UPDATE 9".
