Im pretty new to all MLP stuff and im really courious about... how did i even became a fan of MLP, just like i got fan of anime , i got really into this serie, i know its dedicated to kids and all that stuff... but uuugh , its soo good and satisfying to watch, everytime i watch it , its like "i cant believe im watching a kid's show", but ffs im already finished 5 seasons in like 1 week , and i dont know why am i watching it so impatient. 

this show its like a weird drug for me lol

 

so , i wanna ask this to all of you guys that have more experience with all this, why do you like MLP? 

do u felt somehow similiar as me when u started watching this serie?

As for your question, the current director of the show himself said why he thinks males have been attracted to this show. He thinks it's the positive messages, kind characters who support and care for each other, the adult references and jokes, and how they handle serious moments with gravity.

Yeah I binge watched it, joined near the middle/end of season 4 and watched through all the show in two days.

 

MLP was very relaxing for me, and life was stressful just before I got into it. It was a wondrous change of pace.

 

And yeah it was a little weird for it being girly or whatever but that certainly fades more with time.
